For me, the most striking of this race, is that Williams was a wonderful team in this era with BMW. One of my dreams about F1 is the return of BMW.

They did terrible in the first half, then in the latter JPM (he basically carried the team by himself) started to pick up as the car got better but it wasn't enough. Fun fact: Of the three last Williams wins, two were from JPM, Germany 2003 and Brazil 2004, so just keep that in mind

Too expensive. Of the existing teams; Williams are barely hanging on, they really on drivers to bring them money; Force India was just saved from going in to administration and Sauber have been battling for a few years now.

One thing I'm wondering about, though - if the 2017 (and newer)/current Formula 1 cars are designed for to have much higher downforce then why do they have such high rear ground clearance compared to the old(er) ones? Yeah, this is pretty faked out. Well, these are mods after all, I can see that BMW or any F1 from 2004 getting passed on the long turns but no way in hell the 2018 cars will overtake them in the straights, in the main straight those cars could reach speeds of 365kph without even drafting, 2018 cars can barely pass 340 with DRS. 2018 cars have greater reliability and downforce, 2004 cars had pure raw power and lightweight. The main differences is that 2018 use slicks AND have DRS technology. A 2004 car with it's rear wing open(aka DRS) would likely have reached 375kph on the monza main straight, again with no drafting, and with slicks would have gain easily an extra 1 to 1.5 second in most tracks, maybe even 2secs or more in tracks like Suzuka and Spa.

No need for KERS, TIRES would probably be enough to RIVAL(won't say surpass because I don't believe so), DRS would be overkill in the straights and would probably MAKE the F2004 the fastest.
