Iya gaz I'm out on the blue mink in a couple weeks luckily, you think you could show us some of your homemade tope rigs

I haven't made any yet but when I do I'll go down through the crimp with the trace line then through the eye of the hook back through the crimp with the tag end pointing back to the main line then post the tag end back down through the crimp pointing towards the hook to give it extra strength hope that's some help
