Out of Billy's huge catalogue All for Leyna is truly epic, fascinating to listen to the nuts n bolts of it's formation. Both vocal n music on finished version are testament to Phil Ramone's legendary production.

This song is so well composed with eightieth piano chords, quarter giutar chords and bass lines filling in the spaces, plus the offbeat drums.

You can definitely hear The Police-“Roxanne” influence here. All for Leyna is one of the rare gems in the Billy Joel catalog…. so underrated.
