Yeah so many pieces shown so far that builds the theory, that even if its wrong, his reveal will still connect to someone. He spoke Todoroki's name like he knew it, his fire is blue meaning its insanely strong, first appearance is him leaving a salon (likely hair dye), bright blue eyes, keeps his name a secret that even the police couldn't figure out, etc...

@@atravis4004 Regardless if he is a Todoroki or not, Dabi has been set up to be a major reveal, so if he isnt, that begs the question of who he is related to that we know of, because they wouldn't hide it if he was related to someone we've never met or heard of. The manga is always giving more fire to the mystery "Have you never stopped to think about how their families feel?", "I thought so hard about it I went crazy" -Dabi.

I thought about that when I first watched this, but then I remembered that this is a society about rules and laws and limits, which is why the villains feel so angry about it and want to be more free. If student heroes can't use their quirks in self-defense, then the police probably have more restrictions on them than in our world, too.

@Beto PD I _have_ read the manga, and I'm completely aware of what has and _hasn't_ been revealed, I just don't see how spoiling things for Zamber (or for anyone else who might be reading the comments without having read the manga) benefits anyone. Though, for those who _have_ read the manga, *[SPOILERS BELOW]* ... we know what Shigaraki _thinks_ he (barely) remembers. We also know that Ujiko somehow messed with his mind, and we know what kind of person AFO is, and we know how fragile young Tenko's mind was at that time and how much of an influence AFO was on him (well, we know a rough _lower_ limit; his influence could easily be _even more_ significant, to the point of having given him his quirk to cause the whole thing or killed his parents himself, supposing they're even dead). Until we see a proper flashback, or a memory from a more reliable source, we know _nothing_ about what happened to poor young Tenko, other than that he made the mistake of being born in the wrong family while AFO was still alive.

Hey, little trivia, so Uraraka was originally going be Mt. Lady; yeah, if what I read is true, that was her original planned power and I assume eventual hero name but Horikoshi quickly figured out that to size manipulation was a bit too powerful to give a main character so he backtracked and eventually gave her her gravity alteration. I assume he liked the old power so much that he split Mt. Lady off and made her a separate character and that's part of the reason why she's one of the first pro heroes we meet, she was very important to the series development

Is it bad that I'm enjoying watching your ever mounting terror as things go from bad, to worse, to.... well few more episodes till we get to that? So, trivia/Fan theory time. Already mentioned the whole "Dabi is one of Endeavor's rejected kids who failed to be good enough for him" theory, this ep just pushed that even further into being a thing, because while listing off the League's real names, notice they never said Dabi's, and at no point did Endeavor see Dabi either. Also the 'father' thing, the implication seems to be that that hand he always has on his face is his father's preserved hand. Also, given the whole 'You did nothing wrong' and some of his remarks during his rant to Midoriya in that mall, it makes it seem like Shigaraki's quirk activated while he was out with his dad... holding his hand... his quirk that disintegrates anything he's holding... and that all that was left was his other hand. Now to eagerly await the next and hope past Zamber had some kittens to snuggle or some other way to help deal with the epic stress levels.

If you can see, AFO wanted to turn Ragdoll into a Nomu until Tiger saved her. The villains need people to make Nomu's and they found her in the station they were making Nomu's and she was naked when they found her, implying that they wanted to turn her into a Nomu.

Ohai Darth Vader, fancy meeting you again! Also, that reporter...ugh kids would be dead if Aizawa didn't make the call. Media in BNHA is infuriatingly realistic. And this episode is where the brokenness of society shows. I mean I do sorta know Shigaraki's backstory, but even from this, you can see bad stuff happened to him and nobody did a thing because having heroes sort of amplified the whole "diffusion of responsibility" thing. Everyone just hopes heroes will magically know about bad thing happening and rescue everyone in need. People live in sort of bubble of safety and complacency. It'll be taken care of. You don't need to call authorities to fight next door, someone else will SURELY do it, or heroes patrolling with EVENTUALLY hear it and act. You don't need to stop a bully, some hero will eventually put a stop to it. and so on and so forth. So nobody saved Shiggy and our evil mastermind used it to his advantage to manipulate him to fight his war.
