Because it feels as if, if you say something even remotely insulting, people will come down on you hard. They will come as groups and they will not even let you speak your mind and even force a title on you, regardless of what you say. It's a losing battle. I'm not sure about these people, but you do have to admit, talking to anyone about any sensitive topic will cause people to treat you like garbage and give you labels regardless of the truth behind it. I think they meant "You can't say that, without someone emotionally, mentally and verbally bashing you during a conversation." I've made comments that were completely taken out of context and treated like they were "anti-LGBT" for instance over a video game character. Not a person, but a fucking video game character. And it was on a basis to me honestly feeling (when there is a LOT of evidence to prove it) that the character I refer to was only made trans to feed off of people's insecurities and garner money (which it did. It's probably one of the biggest causes of them making money at the moment). But saying that is taken so hard into offense, you are basically forced to or suffer the consequences.
