Not gonna lie, the first time I played this I was peaceful and sacrificed (with John saving me). But I wanted to do the attack part, and I think the coolest way to do so is when you say "don't shoot, we're leaving!" When they say "ON MY ORDERS!", and everyone turns around with that look of surprise when they look at the SWAT team ready to fight, it gives me chills. I love this game and its design.

The beauty of the game is that it presents one giant irony. The public sentiment was that androids are lifeless robots who just obey, yet in the plot, it's androids who showed more emotions, empathy, and personality. Humans, on the other hand, wore the same gear with their faces covered with helmets and mindlessly followed orders from their superiors, devoid of empathy and ruthlessly killing. I got supportive public opinion ending on my first playthrough. It only affects the president's decision in the end and also helps Kara survive in some scenarios, but the humans don't get to join the cause, unless you count Hank when he tries to stop Connor from sniping Markus.

At some point during these protests, I expected a riot police, or later on military to shoot one of the protesters and then suddenly freeze at the realization that red blood is flowing out, thus forcing the police/army to hastily stop and retreat at the prospect that there are human activists scattered among the androids. It's not really explained in the game... but it is suggested that Markus is rA9, the one supposed to set them free. Markus is a unique prototype, and we don't know what's the puropse of it... We just know Kaminski gave it to Carl as a gift... so it's not impossible that Kaminski had developed the feature of set other androids free in Markus, and maybe the "deviant virus" itself... you could say he is learning to use this conversion skill more and more efficiently as the game goes, being Jhon the first android he sets free accidentally when he tried to ask for help. Another interesting thing is that Markus model is RK200, while we don't see other RK models in the game, except for Connor itself which is RK800. He also is one of a kind (despite he gets replaced) and the most advanced andorid made by cyberlife, so we can understand he is actually a superior version (800) compared to Markus (200) and we saw that he also has the ability to make other androids deviants after he become a deviant himself (the ending in cyberlife). Also only Connor and Markus have the ability to connect with other androids to see their memories... Connor uses it to investigation, Markus uses it with North to share memories. So it seems the 2 first letters in the android model indicates it's objective, and the number, just the version. So we don't actually know what's the purpose of the RK models exactly. One more ovservation is that Carl seems to be trying to make Markus become more and more human... The way he talks to him, letting him play piano, explaining him how to paint and be creative, and the moment he warns Markus he shouldn't let anyone tell who he is. It seems like Carl might know something about Markus Model, and his ability to become deviant even before he does. We don't know what's the actual relation between Carl and Kaminski, so Markus can be an actual plan of Kaminski to create a concius android, and Carl participated on the experiment by training him. The only weird thing for me is that Luther mentions rA9 is supposed to be the first deviant ever... and Kaminski talks about it like a virus which spreads and it's awating to be triggered. Now, we don't know anything about the actual first deviant... Markus is certanly not the first case of deviancy, but it's the only android referenced as possible rA9 in the game... Also Markus might be the first android having the rA9 subrutine (virus), and he might have spread it even before he became deviant... Maybe others triggered first, but he was the first with the virus... designed by Kaminski in my opinion... Why would Kamiski have the Kaminski test, looking for empathy in androids, if he is not the one looking/researching for that kind of android in first place? Kaminski doesn't appears to be surprised about the existence on deviants, or why is it happening... and being him not working for cyberlife since 10 years ago, and Amanda representing cyberlife's interests, is constantly trying to understand and fix the deviants issue, makes me think all of it was Kaminski's idea, and Cyberlife is trying to stop him.

there is an error in the game at 4:09 . if you choose Disperse, then Stay then sacrifice the police doesn't shoot any androids, but you can see dead androids on the floor
