Grevious was implanted with a droid brain that assessed his odds, just like the tactical droids. Being the general of the army and vital to their success, it shows why grevious dipped when odds weren’t great.

Notice how the Jedi can’t win without using the force, grievous will only fight dirty with other droids when they use the force, any other time he gives them a fair fight.

That first Kenobi fight was a technical victory for Grievous as Kenobi retreated a 1v1. That's a forfeit. The Kit Fisto duel was either a stalemate or no contest. The duel was interrupted, and it ain't over until it's over. Either one could have won had the duel continued. Asajj Ventress was likely buffed by Dathomir and Grievous already had the battle secured, meaning he most likely gave zero fucks about the outcome of the duel itself. Even Count Dooku himself has suffered humiliating defeats due to not taking inferior opponents very seriously. Again, if the opponent retreats the 1v1, it's a technical defeat for them. Ahsoka lost both her duels against Grievous.

He's held his own against Yoda before and utterly thrashed Kenobi in a duel multiple times. Also forced Maul into a forfeit, twice. Grievous ain't no fodder.

There was a reason why they had to nerf Grievous, and it was a decision by Lucas, it was because Anakin was always meant to be the most powerful in the Clone Wars besides Dooku. Having a cyborg winning against 6 jedi just wouldn't make sense, while that Grievous easily had the best scenes, he wasn't exactly a three-dimensional character, like Asajj in that series he's kind of there just to make the war more interesting, and thankfully not wasted like Asajj. Grievous in the 2008 series has a better personality, he's obsessed with Kenobi, has a pretty understandable motive to kill Jedi since the Kaleesh were wiped out with help from them, and Matthew Wood's voice makes him way more unique than the previous ones. Of course his ruthless determinism, and cockiness pretty much makes him look stupid when loosing to mainly Kenobi. Grievous has had some good moments though where in one unfinished episode he wins against Kenobi easily, he thankfully beats Ahsoka who realizes she isn't aware of how dangerous he is, him fighting the Gungans which reminds him of his warrior days, and Dathomir probably being the best time of his life.

He could fight and defeat high knights and low masters, as well as pressure weaker council members, he was extremely powerful, id say even MORE so than the old show, it just looks “slower” because of the animation style, they’d be imperceptible to us

@@tronovonflidder775 he didn’t pressure yoda in the slightest, yoda fodderized him and slashed his head, literally schooling him as he casually blocked and countered. Kenobi was off balance and a lot of the fight wasn’t even with a lightsaber or actual lightsaber combat, and when it was he fodderized grevious and made him run. They are not low masters nor low counsel members

@@Mikerille Grievous the entire time was only using one lightsaber yet he went toe to toe against Yoda. Any attack that Yoda did land, Grievous tanked it. Say what you like, but General Grievous was clearly a big enough threat to Yoda for him to decide that retreat was the best often once just a few battle droids came in. This is Yoda we're talking about here. I dunno what you're talking about in regards to Kenobi, but I'll just quickly cover every fight. During two of their fights, Kenobi retreated. That's a forfeit on Kenobi's end and a technical victory for Grievous. Grievous dominated their Kamino duel, which ended in Kenobi supposedly falling to his doom from Grievous's perspective. An arguable victory for Grievous. During Crystal Crisis, Grievous ended the duel literally within 10 seconds. Kenobi was disarmed n' taken hostage. A decisive victory for Grievous. They had another small n' brief duel once where Grievous kicked Kenobi to the ground within seconds, winding Kenobi n' leaving him exposed to a fatal strike, if not for his clone forces chasing Grievous off. Another dominant victory from a 1v1 perspective, as he left Kenobi on the floor without a lightsaber in hand. I dunno if you've been counting, but that's five victories Grievous has over Kenobi. The only two that Kenobi does have, was the one during Revenge of the Sith, in which Grievous was arrogant + a lot of luck was involved for Kenobi, and their second ever confrontation where Grievous technically retreated from a duel he was dominating due to a surprise force attack, but that was a very weak victory for Kenobi because as soon as he caught up to Grievous, he was shoulder bashed away n' taunted at. All in all, Grievous dominated Kenobi in lightsaber combat, six out of the seven times they actually dueled one another. Has five total victories over Kenobi. And actually went toe to toe against Master Yoda of all characters. General Grievous is a high tier threat, whether you like it or not.

He fodderized grevious, mocked him for being green, then left him more injured then ever. In their final duel, kenobi fodderized grevious, you’re simply lying if you state differently. The whole fight took less than 2 mins. Everything else means nothing. You’re legit trolling if you unironically believe he went toe to toe with yoda, yoda literally casually froze him with one hand 😂 him having four lightsabers vs one doesn’t change much of anything, considering he was much slower than yoda to begin with. Someone claiming he held his own is like saying he held his own against ventress 💀 even though she quite literally fodderized him

@@Mikerille Now you're just coping. Grievous was actually mad that the droids interrupted the duel, meaning he was enjoying the duel against Yoda and didn't want any interruptions. He also wasn't wounded, he tanked n' no sold everything. The fact that he can go toe to toe against Yoda with just a single lightsaber is crazy. But at least you admitted Yoda's limits. Grievous would have been a long enough fight even if the duel went interrupted. But with interruptions? Nah, Yoda's gambling with his life by that point. If it weren't for the lucky blaster placement or the electric staff weakening Grievous's chestplate enough to pry open, Obi-Wan would have lost the fight, if not died. And their duel prior was Grievous making light of Kenobi due to having him surrounded + already defeating him literally within ten seconds the last time they went at it. When the Clones ambushed, Grievous was about to get serious but was caught by a force push instead. Regardless, Grievous having more W's over Kenobi than Darth Vader & Maul combined, shows whom exactly the better fighter is.
