@@BrokenHaloTheory Well, I'm not a Pegula fan that's for sure! But it was the previous owner that let Briere and Drury walk. Five million a year for each wasn't a ton of money even back then. Terry probably would've paid.

@@jeffreyg4626 one of the minority owners didn't want to pay briere. Both drury and briere wanted to come back as package deal, the team only wanted drury. That's what fucked it all up.

@@scarycrazymann reviving this a bit but i always wonder if things would've been different for Drury if he got to stay. Like his injury that took him out. Different place different time kind of thing. I was really sad when he had to retire early he was my favorite player.

@Buffalo Archives Now I understand. It’s just that when Buffalo is winning, he’s the only one I like to hear. That means no Dan Dunleavy or any other announcers. That probably goes for Jim Lorenz and Harry Neale too. Especially the latter’s ex-partner Bob AssCole.
