I love how johnston got hit, got right back up, didnt go after the player who hit him to start a fight, but instead played the puck. Its annoying how every big hit stops play while they dive onto each other. Take the hit, get up and play harder

I guarantee that Stecher got instant respect from Couturier for stepping up for Skinner despite that size disadvantage. I don't think Couturier meant to put Skinner on the ice, but he knew that a response was going to have to come when he did. The fact that 5'10" 185# Stecher didn't hesitate to engage 6'4" 215# Couturier earned him a lot of wasta. You gotta love Deslauriers and McIlrath smiling at each other after like "nice tilt bud, see you later for a beer."

If you watch that hit on Skinner again, you can actually see him step back into Coots as he saw him coming around. Idk if he did it on purpose, but you can see even Coots was confused as he skated off. Even taking my bias into account (I'm a Flyers fan) that was a dumb hit because at the absolute worst it was an accident, at best Skinner did it on purpose, though I doubt that's the case.
