So the angels call the gods of destructions they serve, "lord" (though maybe sour calls helez "lady"), so why on planet beerus did they not bring back lord slug from the 4th movie and have him be a god of destruction of some kind?! Not only would it be subtle forshadowing to broly's return, but it would be a cool marketing gimmick, rebooting 2 movie villians into the main story, with the less popular one debuting in the show, and the more popular one debuting in a movie, he would be a g.o.d in training like with toppo, so they can keep the alcohol theme for the current gods, he would be the g.o.d canidate for universe 6, or maybe from a universe that isn't 7,6, or 11, if we use that theory someone on an expertgamers video commented on where it's mandatory (or at least standard) for the g.o.d to be from a different universe so they would not be bias with their destroying job, but I wouldn't want that to be the case, and to be universe 6 (though he could have originally been from universe 7) because it would connect 6,7 and 11 as a trio of universes which, I don't know if the show will (I'm up to episode 109 but know about major events that come after) or anyone else does, but I certainly do, through one nember of their team that while not the strongest, is the most likely to become the next g.o.d in their universe (Vegeta, Toppo and slug), but I don't know who would be the goku/jiren in this situation, if there is one, a.k.a the person on the team who's naturally the strongest, was offered the role of god of destruction but declined, I mean hit is probably strongest of at the team in tournament of destroyers but I'm pretty sure vados would know hit won't take the job, maybe it could be hirudegarn who in cannon, is at most botamo and magetta sized, and sentient, but I hope *no* depiction of hirudegarn is sentient, it ruins his charm, maybe it's turles, but again hopefully not. TL;DR Not bringing lord slug back with a connection to gods of destruction is a missed opportunity.

That's interesting. I think that they didn't bring him because he is not that popular. That thing about being from another universe would actually make sense. It would make their job a lot easier an they wouldn't hesitate to get the job done. Yeah, Hit would definitely decline. And I think that Vegeta too because of his family. But yeah, it would be cool for some of the movie villains to start coming back and become cannon.
