Yeah some of these are sad that they didn't happen, like Bill's song, I still to this day wish it had been kept in. But others like the Dippy Fresh neck snapping, or the love god necklace change are valid outtakes. This is a show for kids, and kids don't need to be exposed to things like that which are not developmentally age appropriate (the neck snapping) or controversial (the necklace). You only have one childhood, and it should be spent with innocence and play and fun, not getting embroiled in moral dilemmas or scarred with traumatic actions. Children's content is not the place to be making a statement.

The transgender symbol on the necklace isn't really that bad??? It would go over many heads and wouldn't be too noticeable, the only people likely having a problem with its inclusion just overreacting. There are some much less child-friendly things squeezed into Gravity Falls anyways soo... (I agree on the cutting of the Dippy Fresh thing though.)

@itzgoogol69420 The necklace would cause MAJOR controversy though, not only would it potentially make kids aware of such things at a young age and make them have to grow up a lot faster if they decide they want to take a side in the debate (because then they would have to either defend it or be against it and it would put them in serious drama and arguments that they dont need at their age when they should just be having fun and learning and playing and being carefree). But it also would breed turmoil in the kids families if the parents found out. A lot of Christian parents trust Disney properties to be free of that kind of stuff and if it got slipped in and they saw it or the kids saw it and started asking questions, then the parents would be *furious* and it would cause backlash on Disney for letting that be in their show knowingly made for children. And then the people that avidly defend this sort of stuff in media (regardless of who the audience is) would cause backlash at the parents for being mad about Disney including it, and it would put Disney in the crosshairs of both sides and in the news for the controversy. It is a WAY safer move business wise to just keep the show as clean and non-controversial as possible.

And the only ones that would complain about it and not ignore it are people who are overreacting, especially since it's harmless and the symbol just being on this one guy's necklace won't necessarily introduce kids to the topic, most not even noticing it in the first place.

@itzgoogol69420 Yes, a vast majority of children wouldn't even notice or question it, but it only takes a handful of them noticing and googling it to find out what it is or asking their parents for it to become a problem. Parents that didn't even know about it because it slipped past their kids might see all the drama and then join in and it would just snowball from there. That's how that sort of thing usually goes.
