Alright, I'm going to address something here that people continue to comment about now that I'm nearing 2 million views on this video. I would like to say, firdt of all, thank you everyone for watching this video. However people make comments saying that I just stole other people's content for my own video. I need to say they are 100% correct. I blatantly stole over 35 minutes of content just so people could see it in a compilation. I do not deserve this in the slightest, and I'm considering to take this down just so the original creators can earn more. I would also encourage you to watch other content on my channel just so people may stray away from this one. This is entirely optional, however. If you choose not to, that's fine with me. However I will also refrain from posting any other works from Vivziepop in the future, as it takes away from her monetary gain with this video up. I encourage you to watch the original series for the songs, and not this video. tl;dr, I don't deserve this fame, may take the video down soon, check out my other content if you want, and support the official release instead of this.

I've listened to his part in The Show Must Go On a million times because of all the ways it could point to what his deal actually *is*-- personally I think once Adam roughs him up he realizes that his deal had nothing to do with Charlie or the hotel, and everything to do with the hope that he and Adam would kill each other in that fight. "Great Alastor, altruist died for his friends" is him realizing his *entire* deal was a set up and I will die on that hill. xD While I love the idea that his verse had something to do with him starting to care about Charlie and the other denizens of the hotel, his reaction to getting got by Adam just feels too much like an 'oh fuck' moment. He smiles to tell himself he's still in control when he *clearly* isn't, and nothing shows that more than his fight with Adam.

He definitely has grown to care about Charlie, which is shown in "Ready For This", but his verse in "Finale" is him realizing that's how he would have been remembered had he died in the fight, which he does _not_ want. He doesn't want to be seen as a hero. He wants to be feared, and most importantly, alive.

2 points I WILL fight you on: 1) Emily carried "You Didn't Know" Adam and Lute are amazing and carried THEIR parts, but that song drops off without Emily, let's box >_> 2) Vaggie loves Charlie and follows her out of love and respect, yes, but literally every scene before that fight with camilla the woman literally explained to her her fighting style was off BECAUSE she wasn't fighting for Love. She wasn't thinking of Charlie or anyone when she fought, clearly being shown by how aggressive and wild she was in her attacks and lack of dodging. That's all I have to say on those, literally agree with every other rating and point within this video, kudos, also The Devil Went Down to Georgia reference was noticed immediately and I love that I wasn't the only one who caught it XD
@ProShidder9 ай бұрын
Ok imma be fully honest with you, I rewatched the scene for your second point and... you're completely right. However we can assume that her fighting style was because she didn't know angels could be killed, and didn't adjust it before she went to see her. We also have an excuse for the hatred instead of love, because she's probably furious against every angel after Adam revealed her secret. Also for the first point what time and place? 🥊>.

Yes! On point 2, we have to look back to every time Vaggie fights and how anger is always her 1st reason, and charlie is her 2nd. She's so hot-headed that she punches a cameraman (he deserves it) and goes to fight Alistor, who is more powerful than her. If Alistor didn't want something out of Charlie, he would have probably killed Vaggie, which he himself says. She was even willing to kill Pentious even though Charlie was saying she forgave him and still wanted to help redeem him. She needed Carmilla to beat her up and remind her what her number 1 reason should be.

I might be overanalysing but I’ve noticed something about Loser Baby During the part where we see Angel and Husk bound up with white ropes, they’re bound in different ways, reflecting how their deal effects them Angel’s is spread out more with more gaps between the rope, this shows how he has more freedom than Husk but at the end of the day is still a slave to Valentino Husk is bound much more tightly, showcasing how he’s constantly under Alastor’s thumb at all times
@forgepure.8 ай бұрын
Nah I love that it's probably true to with how much detail is in this show
@lovesbunniesnferrets8 ай бұрын
Another thing, (relating with the overanalyzing), he felt like he was being picked on originally. So their first dance together was sloppy for Angel, and he wasn't following. After realizing Husk was telling him how he was the same with different types, Angel is more smooth and flowing with his steps, matching Husk. Just cool seeing people analyzing stuff you feel like you only see sometimes tbh

But Sarah still uses "they were planning an up raising." As an excuse.

Actually Vaggie was ruled by revenge when her secret was exposed, she was fighting for love, but revenge was blinding her. But she was reminded what she really to fight for.
@hannahdeon8 ай бұрын
Literally came here to say this like did the person who made this video not listen to the first line in the song it's very clear that vaggie is driven by her detestation just like the song says
@Bisexualdragon40428 ай бұрын
Vaggie does pick up her wepon or use violence when angered, like when the camera man called Charlie a "dumb bitch" or when Alistor first appeared, also at sir Pentious when it was shown he was a spy. She took action first out of anger instead of protection or thinking of what Charlie wanted in the moment. The only time we do see her fight for Charlie's safety is when the loan sharks attacked the hotel. So Carmilla is still correct. Especially if we look back at pilot Vaggie, who was almost always angry, especially towards men.
@beipiaosaurus6 ай бұрын
I would interpret it as Vaggie has always been fighting based on her angel training, which was not designed to be against angels, so in order to fight for her love Charlie she needs to work differently.
@johnydl5 ай бұрын
Yeah and her reasons to side with Charlie in the first place and support her dream weren't really love they were about sticking it to heaven. Shifting her perspective and giving her a training montage for that shift in perspective is exactly what she needed. I just wish it'd been a duet with Vaggie explaining that side of it, the "out for Lo-oh-uh-oh-uve, Lo-oh-uh-oh-uve" has grown on me but it was a little much in the moment especially since the vast majority of the songs have explained feelings they have up to that point.

This!!! I'm glad that someone noticed that too. Vaggie only knew how to fight for blood, she was taught that, only ruthless killing and spilling as much blood as possible like a mindless machine, that almost sounds like a brainwash. But when you start to fight for those you love the most you will become so much stronger and your head is calmer, you are able to think clearly. I found out that there are 3 types of songs in Hazbin Hotel. Type 1 is emotional ones, which focus more on love and care. For example, More Than Anything, I’m Always Chasing Rainbows and Whatever It Takes. Type 2 is villian ones, like Stayed Gone, Respectless and Hell’s Greatest Dad. These ones usually focus on the villian’s plans and have a little bit of humour in. Type 3 is mixed ones, which are mixes of Type 1 and 2. These ones are like Out For Love and Finale.

30:06 Vaggie was only partially motivated by her love for Charlie. She was also motivated by her anger toward the angels and she wanted revenge. Vaggie definitely needed to be told what she was told by Carmella. Also, this song is foreshadowing the result of the fight between Adam and Alastor. Alastor was fighting for himself - to test his own strength, and was fueled by ego - and that's a big reason why he lost. He believed he could win, and didn't know it was impossible without angelic steel. 31:36 The tempo of the song reflects Charlie's confidence. She starts off without much confidence, but once she starts to believe in herself, the tempo picks up in speed.

Overall great analysis and I agree with most of it, but... I just gotta drop my two cents on "You didn't Know' the TL; DR is it deserves a 9/10 because the song is just such a journey. The intro by Emily is great and shows off her purity and tender soul. It is kicked into high gear with the transition to Adam and Lute and then we see the loss of innocence in Em as the veil is lifted and she sees Heaven's façade. Easily 9/10 here. Then we get to the duet of Charlie and Em and you can just feel the rage bursting through their otherwise pure natures. Easily 11/10 here, chills every fracking time. She is the heavenly mirror of Charlie. Sadly the song breaks tempo hard and falls off with the Vaggie angelic reveal. But all in all I still say it is a 9/10 just for the fact that when the song is at it's best it is top tier and I have to respect that.
@thewanderingmistnull24515 ай бұрын
Not Heaven's facade. Just Sera's, and even then, she did believe them a necessary evil rather than something she wants to do. Very few angels knew about the Exterminations aside from Sera. Emily herself is probably high up being a seraph and all.

I'd disagree with your ratings for a few reasons. 1. Happy Day in Hell. Exactly the point, is the intro to the series, and foreshadows a LOT. A. From Charlie's use of different musical styles, to the wistful tone she starts with of a dream unrealized to the swelling crescendo of a finisher, the song is fantastic, giving us not just an "intro" into the series, but into Charlie herself, her dreams, and how she struggles with adversity. (Deflection and tenacity). 2. It starts with Sorry. A. This was an absolutely fantastic song, as it stresses just what effect Charlie has on everything. Remember, up till this point, We've only ever seen Charlie either utterly fail to influence someone (Adam), or their already part of her group. Pentious is 100% NOT in her group, and even was infiltrating ONLY to get in someone elses good graces, but within a single Song, Charlie's hope and spirit completely infect, and transform him into one of the group, to the point his loyalty is never shaken again. Its a crazy song that really shows just how powerful Charlie's Hope's and Dreams are. 3. Hell's Great Dad A. I would actually give this a 12/10. Again a masterful display that foreshadows SO much. A great example, is how Uncomfortable Charlie is throughout Lucifer's song, emphasizing just how much their relationship and bond has broken down. Lucifer tries to push it, and it makes Charlie so uncomfortable. Alastor on the other hand has an Actual bond, which is why her reaction to Alastor's parts are so much more genuine. Its an awesome prelude to More then Anything, which repairs, or at least, helps fix their bond. 4. Welcome to Heaven A. You say these songs are hit and miss, but your ignoring the effort and greater impact these songs have. This one in particular actually is absolutely incredible, but judging by your rating, I'm guessing you didn't grow up/were involved in Religion when you were younger? Again, this song foreshadows a Lot, but it also emphasizes just how...Out of touch Heaven is. That particular type of song hit VERY hard with me as a very....transitional point for Christian music back in....I'm not sure when, around the 80's/90's? A point where they tried to transition from classical instruments to using more "upbeat" stuff, which teachings to follow. It definitely had its flaws mind you, but its amazing they included it. It also shows a Huge shift, as Adam uses an Electric Guitar, but heaven is using...keyboards? And not really good keyboards mind. Overall, again I feel it shows the disconnect between the different factions of heaven, as well as how out of touch heaven is with...well everything. Also the death glare of Vaggie when Emily is holding Charlie's hands at 26:39 is Priceless. 5. You Didn't Know A. This one I more have an issue with the description then the rating, though I would also rate it higher. The issue is, Most of Heaven DIDN'T know about what was going on in Hell with the termination squad, remember, Sera tells Adam ONLY the Exterminators can know, and no one else. So this is the first time anyone apart from Sera on that council has heard about this. They likely just assumed no soul can ever be redeemed, since as far as they know, no soul CAN be redeemed. (Conversation before the song confirms this.) So "most of heaven doesn't care" isn't accurate, as remember, Charlie says everyone is "at each others throats" with the knowledge OF the extermination squad. They are not united on this. 6. Out of Love A. I'd actually rate this one a three. Its supposed to be a "training" montage, but there's almost no actual combat training, its dancing. Furthermore, in the discussion before this, Carmella states Angels fight like their invincible, which is what gives them openings to be killed. Vaggie was already fighting FOR Charlie, so how does telling her that change...well, anything really? (Note, I'm fully aware that Kata, and movements can be used as training for combat, and Carmella's movements...some of them... Are combat oriented, but a vast majority of the song is just the two of them dancing around each other. If you like it, great, but for me, the song serves no real purpose, and feels....very out of place.) 7. Ready for This A. Kinda feels you missed the whole point of the song. Its SUPPOSED to be out of Tempo, its supposed to feel weird. The whole point was Charlie trying to convince the Cannibals (through song, her specialty) to join her and fight, when they have no interest in doing so. The song starts off as Hesitant, because CHARLIE is hesitant about this, She's not ready and she KNOWS it. It jumps up a pace as she reaches from her own insecurity, to lean into trying to connect to the Cannibals. Unable to find common ground, Alastor reaches out, giving them the push they need. They start singing their own song. The tempo switches back to Charlies song as she tries to convince them to "tone it down", but then with encouragement they start singing HER song. With Alastor's help, she's managed to unite them under her banner, and the Music shows that. Its also worth noting Alastor and Rosie are singing to the Cannibal's tempo, showing their not 100% behind Charlie before switching over to HER song, giving her their support.
@ProShidderАй бұрын
1. Completely agree, and I've accustomed more to the song over time. 2. Same with #1. 3. Yeah Hell's Greatest Dad is fantastic. 4. You're right, I do not have any religious beliefs, however I do believe in the idea of a God. Maybe that's why it felt so out of place. You're also correct that it does set an idea that not everyone in Heaven is the same, they have different ideas and ways that they got there. 5. Again, you're correct, most of heaven had no idea about the extermination, and I've also grown more accustomed to it over time. 6. When making this list, I was trying to give my ratings at face value while taking not too much effort into applying the backstory into the song. However you once again have a valid point. 7. Yeah you're right once again, as I stated before I was trying to look at the songs face value without digging too much into the message behind it. You're completely right though, I did miss the point of it.
