I know right!!!! They need to do that! The older heirlooms have almost no personality! Almost no special or rare animations! They’re always the same and have 1 or 2 animation varieties! But the newer ones have like 5-10 varieties of each animation! They seriously NEED to update the old ones because they have nothing special 😭

One important thing about the Caustic heirloom is that the Heirloom is "alive", while idle there's a rare animation of the heirloom starting to breathe and moving the eyes everywhere, then starting to look at you and then goes back to normal

As a mirage main, what I know is that decoys mimic mirage’s every motion, but it does not change its equipped weapon when mirage does. It applies same to tactical, but canceling mimic, then change weapon, and then resuming mimic can change tactical decoy’s weapon. I don’t know its a feature or a bug, but when you playing mirage, its a small tip you have to remember.

I'd love to see some custom executions come with them. Given that they're so expensive/ hard to obtain. Wraith: throws kunai into portal, punches opponent, open portal so kunai flies out and hits enemy. Bloodhound: the only one I can't really think of a suitable execution. Bangalore: performs escrima style knife fight. Octane: injects stim from knife, sprints around cutting enemy (death by 1000 cuts style) Caustic: punches enemy to ground, presses hammer on chest of enemy, releases gas from head enveloping enemy. Lifeline: beats a drum solo on DOC building up a charge, transfers the solo to a kneeling opponent, electocuting them. Mirage: decoy walks towards enemy showing off statue, real version bonks opponent over the head from behind with the statue. Pathfinder: boxes the opponent and ends up knocking them backwards, then uses the extending gloves to finish them. Gibraltar: not really sure. Maybe it starts like the club execution, then he drops the club, takes the axe out and uses that. Revenant: seen from opponent perspective- beaten by revenant, kneeling in front, rev takes out scythe and chops off head. (Might be a little violent) Rampart: similar to shelia execution, Sheila breaks so she pulls outs the wrench and beats the opponent with it. Wattson: enemy charges wattson. She takes out the new weapon, fumbles with it, and shocks opponent just in time.

for those that dont know octane does have a running flip animation since beginning of season 11. as you can see in the octane segment there are season 9 banners. it has been updated since so dont let that stop you from getting it as it is now one of the best heirlooms.

The thing about Wraith's heirloom is its simplicity and how clean it is. The spinning inspect animation is something that you can't really experience by watching a video, it's just soothing. That was the only reason I had chosen Wraith's heirloom and I do only have one heirloom. If someone wants the most detailed heirloom, the revenant's one is the go-to one.

I still think Wraith's herloom is overrated. It's simple and clean and that's it. Compared to Bibby's, Rev's, Mirage, and Ramp's it's really lackluster in my eyes. People will argue it's the quality of quantity, but the other heirlooms that I mention have those quality and much more quantity over Wraith's. Can't wait to see what other heirlooms turn out to be.

It might be, but it does still have the best running inspect which is pretty much what you do most. You only do regular inspects when ratting or when u just get the heirloom. Honestly the running inspect and spinning while moving just carries it.

I'm an octane main but they could add so many things to each heirlooms package. Finishers, emotes, quips. There are so many butterfly knife tricks to add to Octanes animations or make finishers. Or imagine if pathfinder had emotes where he is shadow boxing or something and making different combos and as finishers he had like some of Muhammad Alis most known finishers like the 12 pounches or the one where he dodges and dances he tummy around or the one where he knocks the other guy out and stands over him with closed feet and hands raised up or the other one where he knocks other guy out and out of passion pumping his chest. Also for Wraith there are some tricks with kunai knives that they could add. For Bangalore they could add that she draws the knife from the case placed at the spot near the neck, where pilots have it. I mentioned so many ideas quite quickly and respawn have octane who has a BALISONG with one inspect. Add a bunch of new stuff to each heirlooms package and they could also make some things grindable to unlock by playing the game, with challenges or something. It would create a while new fuss about heirlooms and people who don't have one would either pay money to get one or grind the game more to try and get it at some point. People who already have an heirloom would have to grind out the extras of them and it would give much more of a rewarding feeling to the person unlocking them.
