I hated having Mosely as the villain. As a major historical figure in the UK - unlike Billy Kimber, for example - there was no suspense, as we - or at least those who know history - always knew the outcome.

It does sound good. Why do you think so many people supported AH and allowed him to become chancellor legally? Germany went from one of the poorest European nations in the world back then to an economic powerhouse at the center of Europe. The only thing anyone ever focuses on is the war and the "6 GaZiLlIoN." Take a war and a lie away and you're left with a pretty decent system. It would have been better if it lasted longer so we could see if it was a good long term system, but it sadly ended too soon.

@@Bkrp-bl4wb Yeah. Deporting 20 million people from America because they're not "American" even though a lot of them have been here for decades. Not fascist at all. Can't wait for you to realize how screwed we are if that happens. Not taking into account the taxes they pay, the jobs they work, etc. Half the farms in this country would cease to exist. Construction would halt. I can keep going if you want? But yeah, thanks for letting everyone in this comment section know that you are on the same side of history as Oswald fucking Mosley.

Your feelings about Mosley? Does he know more, does he have a lot of power, Is he passionate? Will Tommy really beat him? (you already suspect the answer to that one) The answer is simple. Mosley was a chancer who aligned himself with whoever gave him the easiest route to power. Like a certain orange politician, he had no morals, his only raison d'etre was himself. He dabbled in all the Political Parties of the time, Tories, Liberals & Labour. Labour being the latest, because they had their first governments at that time and the most power. Then along came Hitler & the Fascists. A LOT of the rich and elite of the time aligned themselves with Hitler (more so with Mussolini because he was of "better stock"), including the future King Edward VIII, as did a lot of Politicians. The ideas at the time of how the Stock Market crash was ALL the fault of the Jews (only partly true), how Gypsy's and Didicois were just scum, blame the immigrants for all the problems (sound familiar?) Scottish Protestants (Billy Boys being just one group amongst them) hating the Irish catholic immigrants. Mosley saw the opportunity to unite all the factions with this new idea of a Fascist Party with him as a "Chancellor" or Dictator like his friends in Italy and Germany. When the War started he was placed under House Arrest instead of being charged with Treason, a couple of years into the War he was allowed to go to Ireland, then after the War to France. He eventually died in Paris having never really paid for his crimes, because he had "friends" in very high places and probably a lot of information about them to use. Mosley in the Peaky Blinders is a very accurate portrayal of the real man.

What are you on about. Britain was an EMPIRE at the time Mosley tried to stop their involvement into a war that had NOTHING to do with them instead they joined and 100 years later the English people are getting ethnically replaced in their homeland. If the Allied soldiers could see their countries today they would drop their weapons and fight for the Germans
