Last year at this time I really never heard of, NF, but now I've gone through the journey and purchased 6 of his CD's so I can listen anywhere, anytime! I've got into seeing a counselor and are a part of a support group. It's changed my life‼️ 😮💔❤️🩹❤️

If it hasn't been said already, Its called a Double Entendre. One sentence or "bar" that has two clear objective meanings Give me a shot but the guns not even loaded. you nailed it exactly. and it is one of the bases of true lyricism.

When Nate drops a song or an album I watch and or listen to it in the exact order that HE puts them out. After that I try to find all the lyric vids and watch them for all the incredible writing he does because on the first run through I miss quite a lot. Hard part to pause on maybe but I appreciate you taking the moment to RAP about the lyrics.

At the end of the mansion album, make sure you do a song that most people skip "Turn the music up". Just an awesome hype track that is a break in the "heavy" songs

Another great NF Reaction. All he has in this video is himself, a mic, and his bars. My opinion is he was talking to the Christian Hip Hop community and saying, look I don't want to be a Christian rapper, I just want to rap about my life (as opposed to writing to lift up God) verses the standard. That is why he is saying "this Hip Hop is in his blood if you cut me I will bleed it". Don't get me wrong, I love Christian rap but that was not NF's calling.

Yes absolutely the rap music today has no meaning but mainstream don't want meaningful songs which is sad

I would argue that most rap songs have meaning. However, rap is also considered a sport, so many songs are about how much better the artist is than their competitors. This can make it difficult to connect to the emotional meanings often found in rap songs, even the competitive songs and songs made to show off their skill.

best singing rapper i have ever heard. Ever hear Em try to sing? Love Em, but when he tries to sing its kinda cringy. OH, ha-ha remember "lovers or friends" lil jon trying to sing...anyway, redirecting, love this song and yall's reactions keep them comming!

Try listening to some British music , it's full of metaphors and British rap which is Grime is more a story than American rap...try the Jam 'down in the tube station at midnight'...British music is full of reality social change that's realistic rather than idealistic....

NF and Ren are incredible rappers and lyricist, but both take a backseat to Harry Mack in my book because he can come up with killer bars with meaning and that tell a story, like this song does, off the top. Great reaction, love the St. Paddy's Day set decorations, and congrats again on surpassing 30k subs. Puff puff pass. 🙌🙏✌️
