Rich low tones of the bass contrasted with the slight oscillations from the synth builds to a passionate crescendo which perfectly represents unrequited love. It's just another perfectly constructed song from Radiohead that you're not going to hear anywhere else

You're wrong. It's another universe from where "we" "are" "right now". If aliens were to spare this species it'd be sufficient to play this man's saddest music. All the wisdom is there. He makes me doubt randomness and be certain of someone's destiny. His. That's good enough.

This song is like a mesmerizing journey through the depths of the soul. Its ethereal melodies and poignant lyrics intertwine, creating a profound tapestry of emotions. It speaks to the longing for connection, the fragility of existence, and the search for meaning in an ever-changing world. This song has the power to transport you to a realm where vulnerability and introspection reign. It reminds us that sometimes, all we need is the solace of music to heal and understand ourselves. It's truly a masterpiece that resonates with the depths of our being. 🎶✨

Watching Colin on the bass is just so much fun! And Thom, an angel sent from heaven for us all to be in awe of. I’m convinced.
Listening to this again reminds me of the time I took 300 mg of dextromethorphan. I laid down in a dark room, queued In rainbows, and as the effects started to come up, this song started playing. It felt as though my soul departed my body, imagining myself drifting through the cosmos like the orange floating figure on the cover. If you really understand Radiohead, This band should already be a very few favorite bands of all time. For these radiohead maniacs, The first radiohead song may be very very important like it was in my case. All I need was my first song from radiohead and the first listen to this song it literally slapped me sooooo HARD AF, The doom tone was more than enough to get me hooked to them like a teenage girl, if not many things more. Goosebumps really paid me a visit as i was awestruck to this band ever since. Radiohead is a band that owns a part of my heart tbh 💗💙🖤
