Roll bounce was a great feel good movie. Saw it in theaters and when X fell at the end you could hear the entire theater let out a sigh of disappointment for X, we was all behind him amd we expectedhim to hit that move. The music in the movie was also great. Definitely a great film.

Since this movie came out before atl , I would say stop is basically roll bounce but in the 2000s
@spidavenom49 ай бұрын
lol no. ATL had some skating in it but it was basically a hood drama, romance movie with drug dealing, high school, life after high school, etc with some skating in it. Roll Bounce is a comedy skating movie with some drama & romance. No drug dealing, hustling, etc. In ATL the competition didn’t even matter which is why the characters didn’t even end up participating in it. Skating was just used to show part of Atlanta culture. Roll Bounce is a skating movie. Folks always compare movies with primary black casts to others and say it’s the same. It’s lazy.
@SupportGamin20249 ай бұрын
@spidavenom4 so basically Atl in the 70's like I said then? Okay then 😂
@spidavenom49 ай бұрын
@@SupportGamin2024 no. It’s two completely different movies in tone and story. You just said you can’t have a modern movie about black neighborhoods without making it about drug dealing and crime that has to be a drama. I bet you’re also one that complains about how white people deal with black people but highly embrace Black negative stereotypes.

Fun fact: In the deleted scenes, Boo has a love interest that he met at Sweet water, the first time they went there. And then he ended up kissing her in the end of the movie. I'm guessing they didn't have enough duration to keep his love interest in the movie, it was last minute, or it was pointless 🤷🏾♂️
@Mackmicheals9 ай бұрын
Wouldn’t be last minute because it was filmed but one of other options are probably true
@thecoolformula11989 ай бұрын
She was fine too! SMH
@dboslice9 ай бұрын
@@Mackmicheals I mean sometimes some films do be last minute. For example, Sticky Fingaz said in a interview that originally, Deebo having a brother wasn't in the script. He showed up on set one day, just to say what's up to Cube and jokingly Cube said "oh snap you still got the crooked eye? You going be Deebo little brother." 😂
@Mackmicheals9 ай бұрын
@@dboslice I wouldn’t call that last minute. More like in production. Last minute I would assume to mean they add a whole love interest scene for boo when the production is wrapping only to take it out again. That usually doesn’t happen because by then the money is all gone. It would need to be done in reshoots after they have requested for more funds and after trying to edit the film realizing they need more scenes which again wouldn’t be last minute because it is during the editing process.
