Making that adjustment from a hard game to a soft game & vice versa can be hard. Especially from a mental standpoint. When you get in a tougher lineup, you have to remember that your win rate is not going to be what you are accustomed to. The mental “ expectation “ Or what I like to call winners tilt/entitlement, it is very easy to start playing bad and bad cards in hopes of turning things around/win more pots and in turn Making a bad night worse bleeding chips. The compound factor, it adds up quickly.

He knows you see his style of play so you already have an advantage over him because he doesn’t see your style of play. Seems to me that when you sit down for this HU it’s not going to go well for most of you if you think that focusing on his losing hands is what you are going to get if you play him. The guy isn’t stupid. He plays for hours and hours and shows you 7 hands in all of that time. He monetizes his journey so he is going to put up winning and losing sessions. Focusing on his losing hands and what you would have done differently and translating that to you can beat him is an oversight. Some of you will beat him but the majority will lose and at $25k all he has to do is beat 8 of 12 challengers to profit $100k. I like his chances.
