All in One Diesel Heater Two Year Review

It has been two years since I bought the all-in-one diesel heater. So far it has done excellent. It has never failed to start and has always provided enough heat for me.

Yes, it is definitely getting to be the cold season. This heater has been great. Just the ability to warm up my fingers is great.

Thank you for the review. Considering buying one myself. Nice to have as an extra heat source. It is -22 celcius or -8 Fahrenheit where I live in Norway today

I bought and installed one just before the winter hit and I love it. It was one of those that are not in a container, so it's a bit more work to set up. It's reliable and cheap to run. I usually run it on the lowest setting to heat up my bathroom and it cost me about €1 per 10 hours (at €1 per liter of red diesel)... Gonna buy a few extra ones next summer (because the price drops during the summer time).

Great review Luke! That diesel heater seems to be a winner. I could have used that setup back when I was driving a VW beetle. They were notorious for a poor heating system.

Wish there was more clarity on the best way to run these primarily on AC with a battery backup. Relays? AC adapter plugged into an office UPS?

What battery are you using? I don’t think a 12v car battery would fit in that tool box.

It was a small 12 volt lithium battery. Amazon doesn't have this particular one anymore. Should be able to find one to fit whatever box you use. I would say about a 16 AH battery would be fine. More capacity is better of course.

Why are these rated in KW, makes no sense. I'd like to know the BTUs on it.

Don't know, I guess that's a China thing. Like it only shows the temperature in Celsius. I know they put out quite a bit of heat. I have one in my house and it is enough heat for it.
