@TonyG4104 жыл бұрын
Bryce Live is closer but I do like MGM
@ballerthekid114 жыл бұрын
Alright well, some thoughts: 1. You’re right MGM gets wild, lot of absurd action compared to Live. I try to avoid MGM as much as possible. 2. A7off utg is a no-no. Weak offsuit aces are always ripe for reverse implied odds, especially out of position. As played I don’t mind the call on that shove. 3. The KJ hand, amongst others, I would really stop min-raising. Raising it from $10 to $20 isn’t accomplishing anything besides making it a more expensive hand. You got a lucky river, and lucky that you were playing against an idiot. KJ suited plays well multi-way, no need to needlessly bloat the pot. 4. The 86 hand you say you decide you’re gonna try to bluff this one before cards even come out (it also sounds like you keep saying A6?). That hand is fine to play, don’t decide you’re gonna bluff before the hand even starts. The board was super connected. Also you checked the turn which doesn’t make sense when your plan was to bluff but 🤷🏻♂️. It was just confusing all around. 5. I actually thought the 22 and QQ hand you played pretty well. Nice job. 6. The last hand is a complete mess. Every decision was not a good one, starting from preflop, you should usually be isolating that hand when the short stack shoves, as you have a vulnerable mid-high pocket pair, and you’re out of position. Even as played, you shouldn’t be leading out that flop, or turn, and you certainly shouldn’t be calling the min-raise. Or the river. Overall, nice run good, and nice win. Maybe see you at Live or MGM some time.
@TonyG4104 жыл бұрын
ballerthekid11 wow thanks for the analysis. Love it. I agree on last hand for sure & yeah MGM was bonkers
@ballerthekid114 жыл бұрын
John Newman Rewatching the 22 hand I definitely agree with you. I honestly must have forgotten the preflop action which is a really bad 3-bet. The QQ hand I sort of agree with you, but I think it’s ok to thin the field with that $30 bet sometimes, although in general you’re not wrong.
@TonyG4104 жыл бұрын
ballerthekid11 the way the table had been playing I don’t think the 22 hand was that bad.
@ballerthekid114 жыл бұрын
Tony G 410 that’s fair. But I think the major takeaway is the sizing of your 3-bet. 3-betting from $12 to $22 is not folding anybody out, making it more expensive to play the hand, AND re-opening the action for someone to 4-bet you. A more effective 3-bet sizing would probably be around 50-60, if not higher.
@TonyG4104 жыл бұрын
ballerthekid11 I will agree my sizing needs work. This guy in particular I think would have folded anything over $35/40 but maybe not. I’m saying this based on how he was playing.

@guynishida85784 жыл бұрын
when you had the 7,9 clubs you said you had the higher straight. How did the 4,5 off make a lower straight? It's not clear if the utg called or not since you didn't say but I have to assume he called and the small folded after your bet. Also, it would be more informative if you would give some analysis of why you play your hands the way you do and what ranges you are putting the villains on. Finally, it would also be helpful if you would show the pot size after each round and the villain(s) stack sizes. On the pocket jacks hand you weren't "open" to a straight on the turn, you had a gutter ball.

@mikemckeon89764 жыл бұрын
Yea, no low straight for the 4 5 hand? A7 off suit from out of position should be a fold every day of the and twice on Sunday. 8 understand the tables are not full ring, but UTG needs to be a tight position. You also need to rethink your bet, raise sizing based upon both the number of players that called the opening bet, and your position in the hand. You ran lucky during the session, but your gut, and opponents betting should have saved you money on the Jacks hand. "Pot odds, and priced in" are exclusives for being tKen to Value Town, and no reason to show your loosing hand with the Jacks. It just gives information to the other players at the table, that you'll call value bets with the any 2nd best hand.

Skip Bayless ok in fairness I’m a Rec. no where near a pro. Also isn’t it fair that people can play they way they feel & not standard. I get I make mistakes but clearly people play worse than I do.

geez first hand you play A7o UTGA? is it possible for you to post your graphs? I just can't imagine someone being a winning player playing A7o UTG. nice videos tho bro you are a chill dude for sure. spme advice, when you're talking throughout the hands, you have pauses in your speech, it is awkward and makes it hard to follow. like, you don't know what you're going to say. maybe try a practice run or think about what you wanna say and say it all with. out. ok. pausing.
