Vortex mixers are a lifesaver with the state of the paints you receive in these runs.

There are a total of 30 paints over the entire run + 4 brushes and a texture paint applicator (Not including the 3 free brushes if you subscribe.) We have so far got a crappy starter brush early on and a brush with the Termi Librarian. It looks like we are only getting 2 paints in the paint issues from now on, so if you ignore the unknown Ork issues that is only 27 paints, so its more than likely that the 4 Ork issues will be split between paints and Ork boys to make up the remaining 3 paints (One issue will probably be a texture paint and the applicator tool).

If we got off the models shown in issue 2 the Votann will be Kronus Hegmony the black and yellow League. I'm looking forward to getting extra wraithguard and wraithlords. Maybe chaos stuff too.

So I'm selling/part exchanging my Eldar, lad at work wants them and has some unbuilt Incursors I can use. That said, with the savings on the Wraithlords and Wraithguard/Wraithblades... Getting a ghost warrior army and doing a cosmic scheme on them is super tempting. Some Chaos kits I'll pickup extras, Guard too. Orks and Genestealers will be more based on cash flow than planned pick ups. Largely bulkier buys will be based on savings to usefulness and whether the Patrol boxes are still available in the same form.

I still view the combat patrol magazine as flawed with 9 different combat patrol boxes. You don't really save much money. That said I might pick up some of the later issues for certain models. Thanks to Forbidden Planet enabling pre order of the issues you want.

I agree that the idea behind Combat Patrol is flawed, and the saving is a little off, but over all you do save money. Compared to just buying the Cambat Patrol boxes vs the magazine you get paints, brushes, rules, datasheets, and an extra mini per faction for free. But I can never blame anybody for ordering only the issues they want.
