legendary weapons are one of the best things dead cells made. but i feel some weapons were very lazy, like twin daggers. it needed some cool effect like: final hit creates an X in front of the monster that deals critical, like the queen rapier. Or maybe like the machete and pistol, you only use the final hit, could be pretty cool. Or maybe increse the attack speed of the 3 hit combo so you attack SUPER FAST.

I must admit, I really wish they were continuing with Dead Cells for a little longer. I feel like story wise and gameplay wise there still exists room to grow.

This is probably the one thing I'm most bummed about Evil Empire being forced to end development of the game by Motion Twin: not all of the Legendaries got reworked, unique affix updates, and I'm SURE EE would have wanted to continue reworking the Legendaries. I know we have an amazing game as it is, but the Legendaries will always now feel just a little bit incomplete. Thanks Motion Twin! 😡

Yeah not gonna buy any motion twin games cuz they killed dead cells for no reason. If they wanted to stop producing content for dead cells, they should have planned it years ago and wind up everything properly with dlcs. Now this last castlevania dlc was shitty and makes no sense. Would've preferred something that is closer to the lore of dead cells

A good upside to the legendary Cursed Sword is that it doesn't block backpack mutations, meaning you can have some range or a shield as well.

The legendary face flask can be combo'd with Barricade's draw ability to inflict a massive amount of damage scaling with your max HP. It just wipes everything on screen.

I was gonna post a big range of potential affixes but two stood out, so: *Emergency Door -* Cannot be broken, On break effects activate whenever the Door would have been broken (with a small cooldown). This would give the Emergency door an actual use, as it would become a reliable short stun applying tool, and become a reliable source of varied forms of passive damage in a radius around itself. THIS would be very fun I feel. And the best idea i have ever come up with. ***Mushroom Boy -* Becomes Mushroom MAN. Takes the Yeeter model, attacks more often and can preform ranged attacks like the Yeeter, its melee attack still knocks enemies away. As well, if you have a Mushroom boy in your second slot, they will work together, and the Mushroom MAN will be able to throw Mushroom Boy without killing him. THIS is something i very desperately need in the game, Give us Mushroom Man Evil Empire, while you still can!

27:21 the biggest thing for it is that the cooldown compared to say oiled grenade is much lower. Oiled grenade has a 10 sec cooldown base and infantry is just 4

The Pure Nail is probably referencing the fact that you could use legitimate summoner build as some of hollow knight's charms did just that: summon stuff. and quite a fair few, you could have a solid army with websong, grimchild, the weird one that summons fly versions of yourself, you could do some stuff with it and I think that's what it was going for. and an army of biters can go pretty hard in dead cells honestly.

Legendary Peril Glyphs in only A tier? If you take Soldier's Resistance and Dead Inside, you can completely facetank bosses, and Wish lets you get it every run. I breezed through 4-5 BSC HotK, and almost beat Alchemist first try. Definitely SS, maybe SSS tier.

Throwing knife and sadist stilleto will always be a fun combo. With the legendary affix on Throwing knives it makes it a biome clearing brain dead build. So B tier is very fair...it's a support affix really.

Not gonna lie Starfury might be even more broken than cursed sword. It 1 phases every boss in the game. I basically speed ran the game with pure nail and legendary starfury. To up the damage I took face flask and vengeance too.

I think scytes are better because you can use shields for passive and yeetables/any other weapon for aggressive gameplay depending on your mood. I normally throw yeetable then vertical slash put them in more cc and horizontal finishes them off, for bosses I keep a armadillo shield in backpack since we only get so many shots with yeetables. Yes picking what kind of attack you want to do is important but being able to use scytes with any weapon or shield gives it alot of flexibility in making proper build compared to normal scythe.

Personal opinion, Nerves of steel’s 50% more crit makes sure it one taps everything in the biomes, which is what makes it a feel good weapon almost like in very earlier versions, I think deserves an S ish, though tbf it does indeed do nothing special

Pretty sure with the kings scepter you can use phaser while spinning in the air to glitch it and keep the invulnerability while running around, not sure if this was patched

Is your last tier list on all weapons still accurate? I’d love to see an update now that all the items are in their final form. I’m also tinkering with disabled items and can’t find a definitive guide on what to disable if I wanted to create a “competitive” list of items. Ie, take out all the meme stuff. I actually think that leg blood sword is busted. There is a mechanic where if enemy has 5 or more stacks of bleed, it immedeately takes all damage that it would get from effect and removes all bleed stacks. With open wounds mutation you need only two hits to achieve this effect. Only thing keeps it down from being game breaking is resistance of some enemies to it(poison as well), but with proper routing they can be easily avoided.
