Also you’d love Pokémon masters just for the simple fact Xerneas, is flipping busted, it can heal itself, max out speed sp atk and sp def (and attack eventually with enough attacks) it can heal statuses and essentially put up tailwind. This Pokémon is a monster.

Raikou, Entei and Suicune are cats, not dogs; they're the Legendary BEAST Trio, not Dog, Raikou is a tiger (and as such, along with the entire Litten line and Zeraora (plus Zekrom, Mew and the Snivy, Cyndaquil and Froakie lines) are my 8 Favourites), Entei is a lion and I forget what Suicune is supposed to be, but I am assured by my werewolf artist friend who knows this stuff, it is a cat! Why not? If you can be based on the Dog and yet be a fox (Fennekin line) or look more like a ferret yet be based on the Rat (Typhlosion in particular)... NOTE: Ferrets are mustids, NOT rodents! It is a common misconception of ferrets being rodential, they're from a completely different family of mammals alltogether, the aforementioned mustid (same as the mongoose, meerkat, skunk and they are literally small polekats)!

The Mythical Pokemon classification the games came up with is kinda silly, cause they're event-only, except for when they absolutely aren't event-only, and can be caught in other games. Deoxys for ORAS, Keldeo for Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra, technically Celebi for the Pokemon Crystal 3DS port. All classified as Mythicals, but all breaking the rule that Mythicals are Event-only at some point in their lifespans. Pokemon's strange classifications aside, good ranking.

Still, I somehow started with Pokemon Red, of course I had to use an emulator on my old Sony Ericsson phone. But it worked! I was 14 a the time, and I had 100+ hours, I played without any sort of a guide, my team wasn't even balanced, and I loved encountering Moltres for the first time, because that was the one I remembered the most from the anime. And then I was like "Imma put this on my team" even though I had a Charizard with me already. And then Lugia as well from 2000's movie. Idk, I'm not a hardcore Pokemon fan, but I just love them all.

@@kerrywien6775 it's design may look vaguely like a llama, but it's actually based on a variety of real life mythological creatures and beings, bearing a semblance to the Qilin/Kirin from East-Asian Mythology, Apis from Egyptian, the bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara(which is what the thousand arms pokedex entry references) from Buddhist beliefs, and countless origins to the universe in the form of the concept known as the World Egg. Just because it's Equine doesn't make it an alpaca. That would be like saying that because Rapidash has hooves, it's a cow.
