@kalpit3d9348 ай бұрын
@@MartyRxMurdeRz the reply is necessary because for hard surface, i think the whole industry is wasting its time on its primitive thinking "All quads" that is not true as per current technology because at the end only final shading of the model matters which works for 90% times when you are not going for deformation/physics on it, for that you can always retoplogise your model either automatic or manual and that will give you better control over your previously built toplogy while struggling for all quads as you have a complete shape on which you can retopologise easily with control over your edgeflow. Even the greatest master of 3ds max (Arrimus3d) hybrid his workflow to max+plasticity so why i shouldn't tell this to everyone. just see his youtube channel and you will know the mastery he get in HardSurface.

Maya had to make sure that everything will run smoothly in the worst case scenario, therefore everything is much more optimized for heavy duty. while Blender don't give a F about that, everything is implemented faster but sloppy and can easily crumble under heavy load once you work on over the top maxed out stuff, blender is useless, and you'll appreciate Maya more and more.
