Super helpful! Quick tip to save some time when using inset. If you hit "I" a second time after doing the inset it insets individual faces instead of having to go in the options box to turn it on

Quick tip, you can use Ctrl-X while in Edge select mode to dissolve edges. If you're in Vert mode, it will dissolve verts, and in Face mode it will dissolve faces.

Simply fantastic tutorial. Thanks so very much. The weave was a really great way to build that. It's even easier when you use MeshMachine and nsolve to do some of the part's here. The nSolve line mesh cut tool made a perfect cut to square off the ends for the weave to match up. So looking forward to your class in December. Pacing was great in this video too. Not too fast and not too slow so thanks so very much for that. And a tip for those that got stuck when rotating the first nurbs path when making the weave pattern. If your rotation rotates in the middle of the two segments, be sure to change your transform pivot point to 3d cursor and not individual origins which is the default. I was stuck on that for about 30 minutes until it hit me. And second, if your simple deform is going haywire when trying to curve your pattern, don't forget to apply your scale and rotation first and then try again.

This is awesome! I've been using arrayed objects and a boolean to cut the pattern into a mesh then proportional editing to curve it if/when necessary. This is so much cleaner!

Stuff like this is so handy! When I started out with 3D, I just wanted to see if it was something I wanted to do. I didn't want to sink money into Maya (money I didn't have), so I chose Blender. It's come a long way now, and I don't think I'll ever switch. These tutorials for Blender really help! Thanks!

Thank you very much for your sharing. The third method is exactly what I need at present. Also, it's cool to see that you've started using blender.

Hey, thank you for this tutorial, great job! I'm a beginner in Blender and now working on my "bird nest" project. I'm wondering, if this technique could be useful for creating a nest?

By the way, the Discord notification at 10:15 really made me go through **my** Discord, to see what it was. But it wasn't me.
