I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking about why he knows all these incredible top heroes and yet chose to model his suit after 1A. This reminds me of when All Might faced off against All for One in Season 3. It was clear that he was learning tricks from his own successor. He punched with his broken arm like Deku had, and then his final shot was due to tricky switching of which arm contained OFA. This fight seems like an evolution of that concept, with 1A guiding All Might just as he set an example for them. It's also a really nice bookend (or so I think, I don't read the manga) to the thing Deku said in Season 2 about how "with this group, I think we could even beat All Might."

Obvious motif reference aside, I love how this track has a far more industrial take to previous All Might tracks. Obviously the armour concept lends itself to it, but the fact it's less focused about pure reverence and focuses on everything he's gathered and learned has a great connection to the faster pace.

Did you notice? The greatest Superhero’s of every Franchise, Batman, Iron Man and All Might. They all had no superpowers but they found their way to even go toe to toe against the strongest beings in the universe and make a difference. It’s not all about superpowers or quirks, it's about the strong will to stop something that's wrong.

Also, if in the end they were completely helpless and didn't even manage to flinch the enemy, the will alone wouldn't be recognized. They would be called just reckless stupid etc . I think

Official OST is def nice but yours is a better rendition of the actual scene that the OST first debuted in. They cut to chorus too quickly in official OST, with the anime version+your cover it builds up slowly which is nice.

Hey Prince thank you very much I appreciate it. I have the idea to do tutorials at some point, I'm not the most experienced on this though, the most I've done is lessons. About the drums it's a mix of samples I've bought at some point from a metal guy plus 'getgood drums'. Kick is 2 layered snare 3 layers one is room. Hhs are again 2 different ones playing at different times but not layered on top of each other.

@@PianoPrinceOfAnime I would say for drums watch probably metal mixing engineers it's more about compression and saturation and finding a good low end kick to use as a layer here and there, depending on the style. But if you think your issue is mostly arrangement on drums maybe find ready midi patterns and try to check what they do differently. I'm not in any way perfect at drums so I'm checking here and the videos of drum players too. Twitch has some guys playing around here and there. Btw the layering thing for me is a must in many cases. My synths on this cover are layered my lead is 4 synths. Some times I overdo it though XD

It should be. the one that i missed is a small rise part, which since in the anime version they had rise over rise over rise, well it would make it good for the anime but too repetitive for a song. so i skipped it. The original ost has a different structure than my version!

I don't know if someone ever thought about that but I never saw it even once. Isn't All Might entire character the embodiment of "What if Joker was a hero ?". I can't help but think that Horikoshi wanted to do this. I think it's even more true in this episode, where we see an All Might nearly dead, but still smiling, like a Joker at the verge of defeat, but you can never truly defeat because you never made him despair, except this time, the one who smiles is the hero and not the villain, because a smile is something only the mightiest hero should possess and not the worse villain.
