Another cool option for Norsca could be Beorg Bearstruck, a Dogs of War character who was a massive were-bear... Yea. Leading his mercenary tribe of... You guessed it, half bear norscans... Could be basically different skin for norscan minotaurs. Or he could be a hero, the bigger badder and much more dangerous Skinwolf alpha. With amour. And a shield. And a giant axe. But yea, Egil all the way.

Excellent list! Arbaal rocks! And with his lore fighting Kislev, hes a perfect fit! One thing, though...If you read Arbaal's lore, he generally led daemon armies moreso then normal ones. His attacks on Praag were all daemonic hordes, despite him being a mortal.

Egil should be an FLC in the Norsca updates, as Norsca needs magic lords more than anything else. Sayl the Faithless in charge of the Dolgans should be the headliner in the update, possibly against Cathay if the core-rule still applies. Wulfrik needs to be moved to the traditional Sarl lands, which would open up the Skaeling coast to Egil.

Arbaal definitely needs to make it in. Though I would rather he be with Khorne. I would also hope they are treated as individual factions (Because they are!) and receive around the same number of LLs as any other faction. Just because they are "chaos' doesnt mean that Tzeench, Nurgle, Khorne, Slaanesh, and Undivided should be treated to less any more then "Elves" are being dark, high, and wood elves. After all, THESE probably wont be able to confederate any more then the latter. And thats a HUGE map. The more LLs to conquer it, the better!

I like kabandha option the most. Khorne is demon faction and kabandha is demon. He has official model for today, and damn its good. Kabandha likes to fight with tactics to spill more blood then just mindless slaughter. Ambushes, possible tactics, vanguard deployments. I see perspectives for him as legendary lord. Skull taker... Legendary hero or free legendary lord.... He is a good duelist and that's it) he will be strong at duels and maybe buff up some bloodreapers.

Right now, GW have updated their erratas for tomorrow's start of Age of Sigmar new edition. I really liked it, for example - Blades of Khorne can take units of Slaves to Darkness and Beasts of Chaos as coalition units. Coalition units are not just allies, they receive ALL bonuses. Beastman units gain Mark of Khorne for free. Can make an army exactly like in TW3.

Kabandha vs Skarbrand would be an epic DLC. Kabandha gets all sorts of blessings at the start and Skarbrand can get blessings by hunting down certain Khorne champions etc so it makes sense to bring Kabandha into the game as the last Khorne based DLC. In a sense it would lead to Skarbrand (if you’re playing as him) to act more like an assassin or challenger. His job is to go around wrecking anyone Khorne recognises as a great warrior and hunts them down to appease Khorne. Obviously he will get the traits that come with defeating legendary lords/heroes but also fairly decent but not broken campaign effects. In a sense you could tie in Regiments of Renown into that so he can only unlock them when he defeats X Lord. Once there are no more regiments of renown he can unlock banners or blessings of Khorne that can be attached to units like normal BUT they are his forever. Kabandha has to do a similar thing but his job is take over capital buildings and build shrines to Khorne in every one as devotion would be his currency. There would be a tier making certain race capitals more appealing as those would be races that are more melee focused so magic based races would give less rewards or favour than that of say Norsca. Once he has enough favour he can challenge Skarbrand and vice versa.

As a rule of thumb, I discount the likelihood of a character appearing in the games as a separate entity if they haven't appeared as a model or character for the tabletop at some point. Those that only appear in extended universe tales like novels, short stories and such will be at best getting the Surta-Ek treatment of being a NPC AI character or a random name for a basic lord of that type... which will be rather disappointing if said character is noteworthy for their appearance... like Valkia being a generic lord would be a bummer. Now, I know several characters originated as characters in novels that have made it into the game in full, but bear in mind I also know they had official rules and models for the tabletop :)

Khabanda is a great character. The moment when he saved sanguinis from demons who were suppose to corrupt him only so he can fight him, and later saved Baal and blood angel from Tyranid invasion because "the only one who deserves to kill sons of sanguinus is himself" so.... a lot of stuff from 40k and almost nothing from fantasy. I don't think they will add him

Egil would be an amazing norscan lord with some khornate warriors to simulate Huskarl units. Just paint him with Skealing darkblue and it would work. Scylla Anfingrimm I personally would see as a lord character for a Khornate Cult of the Crimson Skulls which follows him as he is unleashed by the Cult Magi, add to that Skulltaker for the other demonic faction, Valkia as a marauder, beastmen and other lighter units based faction, Kha'banda as a monster specialist and Arbal as the Warriors of Khorne representative to have a good headcount for 6 lords fitting across the whole map (Scylla - Brass Keep in The Empire, Skarbrand - Chaos Wastes, Valkia - Wastes north of Norsca and Naggarond, Skulltaker - Southern Chaos Wastes, Arbal - Dark Lands and Kha'banda in western Cathay to have a short path to Ind for name meme sake).

Thorgar the blooded one. He didnt have an official model as he was introduced in the Warhammer Mark of Chaos game and the novel it was based on. He was a character that rose to prominence after Azavar Khuls failed attack against Kislev. Listen to his VO, kudos to the voice actor. He captured the spirit of Khorne the best in my opinion. Even though he got elevated to Deamon Prince status the chaos wastes and realms of chaos are fickle. He might be introduced again as starting his journey to deamonhood.

Valkia is a LP seller, Arbaal is simple enough to create as a FLC alongside her and Skulltaker is literally to perfect to pass up for the Skulls for the Skull Throne promotion next year. Beyond that, I'm not sure who'll make the cut, but strong bias towards the armybook characters based off of CA's past decisions.

I'm willing to bet Norsca will not get any God touched lords, and Egil will be the "Marauder" Lord for Khorne, similar to Vilitch or The Glottkin. Also I'm willing to bet each Monogod faction will have a Greater Daemon Legendary Lord (Skarbrand, Karios, Ku'gath, N'kari) , Daemon Lord (Uzhul, Changeling, Epidemius, The Masque of Slaanesh), Daemon Prince Lord (Valkia, Azazel, Festus, Werner Flamefist) Chaos Lord (Arbaal, Dechala, Engrimm, Tamurkhan), Norscan Lord (Egil, Sigvald if moved to Slaanesh or Jharkill, Vilitch, The Glottkin), and a Beastmen Lord (Ograx the Great, Ruhkar Festigor, and some made up named Beastmen of Tzeentch and Slaanesh) Undivided, if they do get Bel'akor will also probably get Sayl the Faithless as a Sorcerer Lord and maybe Galrauch if they want to push them up to 6 LL each. I don't see Archaeon getting an additional lord for each god unless they give him the ability to recruit one greater daemon each, like Saathoreal.

@@charlesman8722 Well, first of all I said "If" so I'm not even sure. I've seen alot of discussion about the infamous toggle flight on/off button. That would indeed be a valid solution. But obviously that's not the only way it can be done, right? What if they just make him a flying unit, who goes down when engaging in melle combat. It's not like it's going to be literally impossible without that button. Also just add one to the Ui at the bottom of the screen. The intern may handle that. I don't see a problem regarding flying LLs, since some can already fly with certain mounts. They could code him like a flying single entity monster, just smaller I suppose. We'll see. IF Malagar will be able to fly on 14th of July I'm not sure why they wouldn't enable different upcoming LLs to fly also. Again I'm not confirming that right now.

I know it won't happen but I think CA should consult with GW and create new lesser daemon types. I know units like Flesh Hounds, Screamers are but really when you think off lesser daemons only 6 units come to mind. Bloodletters, Daemonettes, Flamers, Horrors, Nurglings & Plaguebearers. Because we are getting monogod factions the lack of daemon types will limit DLC options, and DLC is obviously important to CA being another way to make money. In this hypothetical world each God would get 4 lesser daemon variants and they'd all fill a certain niche in the army. This also gives 4 more legendary lord options as the herald for each variant would be the option. I'd have an elite infantry variant form the existing ones so Bloodletters for Khorne, Daemonettes for Slaanesh, Flamers for Tzeentch and Plaguebearers for Nurgle. Characters exist already who can take the spots, U'zhul Skulltaker, The Masque and Epidemius. I chose Flamers as the elites chose over Horrors because off the Pinks ability to turn into the Blues when destroyed which I think fits better with the light infantry aesthetic I would go with as just being swarm units and not a spell. The Flamers also don't have a named character though but because Sarthoreal is already in game he could be Tzeentch's 2nd greater daemon if they God's get 2 options and could just tweak Yth'nizzilik's lore to be the Herald of the Flamers now instead of a Greater Daemon or something like that. So mentioned the light infantry variants being swarms because I think that's were swarm units should be included and not as a spell, Horrors and Nurglings obviously as the other 2 remaining options from the original 6 I mentioned and CA/GW would have to create new versions for Khorne and Slaanesh. Although if I got to chose I'd pick a dwarf sized humanoid fish looking thing, maybe a shark or piranha because in lore Stromfels is seen by some as just an aspect of Khorne and this could be the only way we get fishmen units, make them daemons for Khorne. Shark and Piranha just fit best because of their bloodlust in real life. And in lore there is something called a Mandrake Man, which I think could work as Slaanesh's light infantry swarming unit. They come from the mandrake root so have it be something like Slaanesh's practical joke against the Wood Elves, they'd look more masculine unlike the Daemonettes but be like a living tree daemon thing. Then you have the heavy infantry variant Which I'd have as half-daemon units, be more like Archaon in that they have daemon blood or a daemonic parent or something. Could be a way of adding Skarr Bloodwrath just say he's got daemonic blood and that's why Khorne favours him so much, can also have Valnir the Reaper for Nurgle who is actually a half-daemon character already. Slaanesh can have someone like Gluttos from AOS, like a daemon prince of Slaanesh got an Ogre pregnant and that child became the Lord of Gluttony and Excess. Can't really think of anything for Tzeentch, maybe a really powerful Tzaangor shaman who is part Daemon? 4th and final variant would be monstrous Infantry and that'd be specialized Spawns like Scyla Anfingrimm and The Glottkin. Dechala and Vilitch fit in here nicely as well, Dechala is the Denied One after all so she's denied full daemonhood but still is liked by Slaanesh, would also explain her appearance being a 6 armed snake lady. I only put Vilitch here because become a Spawn is a curse in a way and he is the Curseling after all, plus Aekold and Egrimm can be Tzeentch's mortal legendary lord or lords. I have a lot of free time on my hands so I spend it thinking about things I'd do if I had any say in what we got, which is stupid and a waste of time but I enjoy it so whatever. Really enjoying this mini series you're doing on the God's, looking forward to your eventual Cathayan insight, because we are getting Rip-off Rasputin I don't think will get the Monkey King at launch and CA will do some kind of Mulan clone as the melee focused lord to go along with the Celestial Dragon Emperor Xen Huong.

Skarbrand was the worst choice for a LL. He does not lead forces. He should have been a LH and any number of Khorne characters that make more sense could have been the LL. Even Karanak is more of a leader than Skarbrand.

they were probably going for iconic Greater Daemons for the starting LL. as much as Skarbrand might not be a leader he's a greater Daemon unlike Karanak or the Skulltaker and he's more iconic than other bloodthirsters like Khabanda. This is why I agree with the no endtimes no AoS stuff. After endtimes GW switched from being a wargames company and writing lore and backgrounds for their units to being a toy company selling model kits with just enough rules and lore to sell the model. There are no interesting units in endtimes from a lore perspective they are just pretty models. I'd rather they come up with original concepts like Cylostra than add endtimes stuff.

The roster’s been revealed People have been constantly making missing unit videos to give people a taste of what’s to come in future DLCs I remember a video from like 2018 talking about the Ark of Sotek, Salamanders, Ripperdactyls and lo we got them in the Prophet and the Warlock We’ve now been waiting 4 years for a Troglidon for Lizardmen It’s a missing unit because there’s more to be added

I'm totally cool with end times stuff. AOS stuff is what I'm not interested in. If it developed in the world after the chaos invasion it doesn't really work with the game they've made. That's for for their next game *Age of Sigmar*, with all the updates to the map that they consider canon.

People read false information and don't read official sources. But they believe in self-proclaimed fake experts who say what you need to hate. @@Basil_Ghothickovitch i stopped giving GW any credibility when they threw the high elves in the trash and told me to buy a new army. I actively dislike the designs for age of Sigmar. I'm not working from a position of ignorance, I'm speaking from a position of active distaste and resentment. I also know that the end times began because GW was frustrated by their ability to copywrite their work, since so much if it is based in Tolkein's wheelhouse. This means that they are more interested in unique, copywritable, designs. So they blew up the world so they could throw out all the parts that frustrated them. It's a money grab. Now they've allowed the actually creative people to fill the gaps they created with their pickaxes. I'm not impressed by GWs great linked universe. If they can rewrite it on a whim; I can ignore their rewrites and not buy all the books

There are only so many things you can do on the same topics before you start looping
