I gotta disagree, Tamurkhan killing legendary lords would really make his gameplay weird, maybe after he gets killed in battle you get a unique worm lord that gives heavily debuff around itself. as for the host it could be mounts that you can swap and you can unlock them by having Tam get 'killed in battle' but wining the fight and have one per race. I just don't think they'll ever have a way to perm kill a lord.

Similar to the idea of Tamurkhan taking over the bodies of other lords I think it would be neat if they added the Changeling as a legendary lord for Tzeentch and made it so that whenever you go into battle you copy the appearance and stat line of whatever lord you're fighting against

Nice to see Skarr getting some love. The idea of a warrior so devoted to murder that death is but an inconvenience is perfectly Khornate. The fact that'd he'd inevitably come with Wrathmongers is the icing on the cake. Really hoping CA leans hard into the Daemonkin characters and units. Tzaangors and perhaps Twinsouls from AoS with the serial numbers filed off would be great to see (and they'd line up nicely with Dechala as monogod Slaanesh). Arbaal can come too I guess.

Regarding the Daemons of Chaos Undivided Faction, would it be a bad idea to basically make a variant of Daniel that's basically just an Undivided Daemonkin Chaos Lord with a focus on Daemonkin units and such?

@@PoorManatee6197 Actually more recent lore shows Khorne as pretty tolerant of failure as long as his worshipers excel in the spilling of blood, something Skarr is quite excellent at between his deaths Valkia didn't fully succeed in her self-appointed task and died but Khorne was still impressed with both the effort and the adherence to his values, blessing her above and beyond most mortals. Scyla literally turned into a chaos spawn because he couldn't handle the blessing but Skarbrand still showers him in favor, something extremely unusual for a spawn. If you go to AoS you have characters like Korghos Khul who has a mix of successes and failures but still maintains Khornes favor since he's still effective at reaping Skulls and adheres to Khorne's values. Daemons of Khorne/Daemon Princes die all the time without raising Khorne ire; the only reasons he's pissed at Skarbrand was that he had the audacity to try and stab Khorne in the back rather than fight an honorable duel. Honestly Khorne's almost sentimental about his followers once you've won his favor (and extremely bitter if you lose it). The only character who strongly contradicts this characterization is Arbaal and that more reflects GW's evolving understanding of Khorne as a deity. I imagine if we see Arbaal added to TWW3 or show up in the Old World (he was around during the Great War Against Chaos) he won't be doomed to turn into a spawn if he ever retreats. The chaos gods are all fickle and mercurial but failure isn't as big of an issue to the gods as violating their creeds or going against their wishes. As long as you fight and kill strong champions regularly with enough skill to impress Khorne he's perfectly happy to return you to the field of battle of death.

@@opusmagnus26 Going to the 6th edition hordes of Chaos there is the "Exalted Daemon" who is basically just a possessed mortal in the vein of the Blightkings/Wrathmongers/Beastfiends/Tzaangor/Twinsouls. So the idea is present in lore and GW has been using elements in their most recent chaos releases. However it would involve making a new character rather than bringing in existing ones which I think would rub folks the wrong way. Not to mention customizing Daniel is the entirety of the DoC faction mechanics. We aren't getting a character of that complexity through a DLC.

personally i have always been a massive fan of the Tzeentchen chamption Aekold Helbrass "Aekold Helbrass, Champion of Tzeentch, bears a most unusual gift from his patron Chaos God -- the gift that is known as the "Breath of Life." Where Aekold walks the grass springs green and meadow flowers blossom. When he walks upon the desert sands and stony rocks the land bursts into life as he passes. A mechanic for the Changeling could be it infiltrating a faction, the the next lord they recruit should be the changelling. Whenever you like you could hijack that army, similar to what happend to the allies armies.

Potential DLC chaos lords (the ones that requires most work, with unique mounts, items, therefore will not be free): -Egrimm von Horstmann (Tzeentch) -Tamurkhan the Maggot Lord (Nurgle) -Arbaal the Undefeated (Khorne) -Styrkaar of the Sortsvinaer (Slaanesh) They all have unique mounts and models, and have various impact in the lore, although the last one was redconned as part of the storm of chaos supplement. Now for the FLC characters, the champions that would bring a certain interest in terms of gameplay but are not important enough or as marketable enough to justify the need of a DLC: -Aekold Hellbrass (Tzeentch) -Valnir the Reaper (Nurgle) -Skarr Bloodwrath (Khorne) -Dechala the Denied One (Slaanesh) Those champions are all in foot and while having a more generic outlook, except for dechala, they all present a good potential for a flavouful playstyle. But then again im just a gamer, im not a dev or working in the gaming industry

As far as the Slaanesh snake girl goes, yes. That will give CA pre-existing models for the future with the Nagas of Khuresh. As for Crom, yes, absolutely make "Norsca" the "Northmen" with Norscans, Kurgans, Hung, and Tong, with Crom the LL of the Kurgans.

Aekold Helbrass would make a good LH or LL for WoC, an AoE healer-melee warrior of sorts. He would play effectively like a Loremasters of Hoeth, but for Chaos.

I'm hoping for Valnir the reaper most of all. He fits nicely with the idea of monogod warriors of chaos you had for Egrimm and represents the aspect of nurgle most neglected so far - despair. This videos are great, don't get me wrong. But i would not hold my breath of Warhammer III having DLCs in the future. It took them 6 months to get IE in to beta and to release a DLC, that is not much work. Don't be surprised if we hear they cut all future DLCs like they did for 3K. I hope i am 100% wrong, but CA has a case history.

Egrimm van Horstmann is probably my favorite WHFB character and I have been a long-time vocal advocate of his inclusion. I 100% agree that he should go to Tzeentch and not WoC; among other reasons, as the greatest daemonologist of all time, he deserves to have unrestricted access to the daemon roster. He could also bring some really nice variety to the Tzeentch Lores of Magic - currently the faction of the God of Magic only has access to three Lores (outside of Kairos). Egrimm himself uses both Light and Dark magic, plus he could bring a sort of Cabal Magister lord or hero with some different and interesting lore options.

Tbh I got a Idea for new female demon princess for daemon of chaos, also kind an idea for dlc ? : A new LL daemon princess who was former/fallen sister of sigmar - completely new character like daniel was (well sort of) with unique model,progression and items. Versus Sister of sigmar LL ( Magrita ?) with new units for empire of course and unique mechanics, with a simple story with both being at each other throats. Aside from that I think that Daemon of chaos faction can be place where CA and GW can create new chaos-like character for the game without being constrained much by existing lore with customization option - I mean this system itself is great and I would hate to see to be just locked to one LL from like 60+ lords in the game.

They could always make it take take one turn, or give it a cool down on that. CA still mostly chooses balance over accurate lore strength. Matzdamundi would be pretty op otherwise.

Skar Bloodwrath - meh.....Engrimm is a good choice - Dechala is also a great choice - but lets try and get something other than yet more Chaos......Neferata is much more interesting to me.

Tammy should get a unique bodyjack mechanic where every time he gets killed by a generic lord, the latter gets killed off and the former respawns 5 turns later with a completely different model but with the same voiceline. Bonus if every body gives him a completely new set of stats and a unique trait depending on the race. Skarr...nah. Hard pass. He literally only exists to present the Skaramor and nothing else. Egrimm is cooler than Vilitch not to mention his tragic past. Dechala will look great if they base her off the Bloodwrack Medusa. Crom should be very close with Archy.

Egrimm wasn't just some dude in the light order, he was literally the magister patriarch of the order. He could have become supreme patriarch. I'd love to see Egrimm but I hard disagree with this implication that we need tons and tons of Chaos characters and DLC. That would bore me. I don't want Chaos to be what the Skaven and Lizards were in the second game. Spread the love around and give me some interesting characters from the other factions. If they're interesting and well-implemented, I'll give them a shot.
