It had so many game modes, you could go coop with a friend and beat arcade mode, fight against 2 people at the same time, the 300 challenges, the kript and it had the longest story mode and every character was easy and fun to use. The arenas were interesting and iconic. I've played all the games from the trilogy and I will always say mk9 is the best one and probably will never be matched again

These stage fatalities feel more cinematic and well done compared to the stage fatalities in later games. The shot of someone's melted skull dripping Hell's lava from the eyes is so striking and shocking, especially at the age of eleven.

And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, Eph 2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom 3:24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Rom 3:25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. Rom 3:26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Rom 3:27 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. Rom 3:28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
