You know what's funny? It would have made sense if he had hit the Lava and survived. Cause a human can't sink in lava. They would just sit on of it and burn to death. With Heihachi that probably wouldn't happen since he survived the Jack Explosion and came after. Granted he needed some recovery time.

I think its just a headcanon prediction, Since heihachi is good now and i think he will stay that way , Reina is going to be the big bad , she has the same mindset of the power hungry evil heihachi and i believe she only considers evil heihachi as her father not the good one , She will try to corrupt him , she may fail or succeed we dont know , The next tekken might focus more on heihachi vs reina i think , Also i realised jin is qualified for mishima ultimate technique as well ,

Heihachi's had so much influence, there was still people willing to save him. So, he never even touched the lava! Well, and it seems that he may have lost a bit of "himself' in the process. Hence a voice telling him to "Finish Him"! His self that is fighting to return to how he was.
