Stumbled upon this as I'm thinking about moving to Lexington or N. KY and am having anxiety attacks. First I have to fly there to look at apartments and get a feel for the towns. Could I find a decent one-bedroom for $800-950? Don't like high rises, don't have a car, prefer smaller older buildings. Looking online I only see new, expensive places. I wonder if the type of building I prefer (not owned by a corp.) would be word of mouth. Good luck in your new place!
