Ah, Phoebe. Always scheming and jockeying. I love these early episodes - I didn't start watching regularly until 1974 or 75, so I missed the foundations of what came later - Amy, Ruth and Ted, Nick, and how those and other characters evolved.

I was the same - didn't start watching until about 1974 so I had no idea there were 3 Linc's before Peter White or 2 Kate's before Kay Campbell. I didn't know the character of Amy at all.

@@jusssayin480 I just read a book on soap opera history and the Amy character was only for the first 6 months. Rosemary Prinz only wanted to do the part for 6 months and then they decided to write the character out of the show. Prinz had been a big character on As The World Turns for over a decade starting in the 50's and didn't even want to do a soap any more but Agnes Nixon talked her into playing Amy on All My Children.
