For watches, I've moved away from my pixel watch 2 and I'm using the Galaxy watch 5 pro which was on sale at Best buy for 125. The sapphire glass is the clincher. My pixel watch has tons of micro scratches whereas my galaxy is pristine. I'll come back to pixel watch when they get sapphire. I really want to get the Jabra 8 active gen 2 which has that quirky feature where it allows you to use the case with 3.5mm audio connections. Sounds like it would be great for travelers to use with in flight entertainment systems without having to bring the large headphones. Although if you have a pixel fold, why use the in flight entertainment screen hehe.

Pixel watch 3 is the best. My GWC4 just been collecting dust since the pixel watch 2. Not sure if the GW 4 has sapphire but I have plenty of scratches on that. Had a PW2 and 3 currently with the 2 having no scratches after having it a year and I finally got one small one on my 3 but I banged it on a brick wall so surprised it isn't worse. Can barely see it. Just fyi, I keep my watch on at all times unless charging. Workout with it, work, daily tasks etc. No issues. Not sure what everyone else is doing with their watches.

@@Antoinemalone yeah galaxy watch classic 4 only has gorilla glass. I've slammed my classic watches with sapphire against brick and zero scratches. It's just a premium material that makes having a timepiece so worth it. Take an bright LED light to your pixel watch and see how many scratches you see. You'll be surprised. Actually don't ha-ha, the less you know the better in this situation.

@@Antoinemalone nah, I'd never get a case for a watch. That just detracts from it's good looks. The sapphire glass just helps maintain that look. Once you've had it on classic watches, it's far to go away from it. That's basically the only thing the pixel watch is missing to make it nearly perfect.

For me the Mous case has been the best. i do wish Pitaka would make the case for the 9 pro fold in other colors like they do for the z fold.

All great options for accessories. If I may add: If using one of the aramid fiber thin cases such as the Thinborne, the ESR for Magsafe Car Mount Charger with CryoBoost is a great car mount that also cools the phone while charging, and for home magsafe, the Anker PowerWave 2-in-1 Magnetic Stand is really good. Charges both my phone and Pixel Buds Pro together. Got one of those at home and one at work... Great video as always sir!

Good video shane. I went all out with magsafe on my samsung galaxy z fold. So I've been using a magsafe case designed by G.K.K with an s pen slot/holder, the e.s.r halo lock/magsafe phone mount in my car, e.s.r halo lock ring grip that has a second ring built in to hold up any phone horizontally or vertically, a VIL magsafe kickstand wallet "from amazon" that holds my phone open, closed , horizontally or vertically and e.s.r halo lock/magsafe wireless charger for my bedroom.

My prism 2 is working great with my latercase and I added magsafe by getting a ohsnap 4 luxe. I've been super happy with it

Alternative cases and screen protector if you're hard on your device. I'm in Cheyenne, WY. Not uncommon to have 50 mph winds that stir up lots of dust. Plus snow squalls in the winter. I'm really enjoying the Spigen Slim Armor Pro. It's bulky, but love the cover over the hinge to deal with the dust. Plus I'm really rough with my phone. It's a true case. Using the Armorsuit 2 screen protector and happy with it. Spigen lens protector on the camera....and they slide around too, lol.

I use this case from Tongate that comes with a magsafe ring in the case, a hinge protector and a screen protector; it looks great, the translucent back goes with both colors, it's not that big so it doesn't feel bulky (except the hinge protector might cause problems due to the size), and the magsafe ring works I think? I don't really use magsafe chargers, but my qi charger and magsafe car mount work fine. The only bad thing is the screen protector, it's hot garbage, luckily you can remove it and replace it with another one before you put it on.

Thanks Shane! I immediately used your link to put the 100w car charger in my cart. I think I'll go for a skin for my 9 pro fold too. I tried putting a case on it but I didn't like the added bulk and weight. I really just love the phone as is.

I have been using the apps2car phone holders since you recommended back in the Duo days. I replaced the CD part with a different mount base, but since it has the same screw on back as other holders do, it is pretty hot swappable. Used it for my Duo, Duo2, Z Fold 4 and now Pixel Fold 2

I love my pixel 9 pro fold, I want to get the pixel watch 3 45mm but it's kind of expensive, waiting for a sale. I had the original pixel buds but I returned them because they didn't stay in. I have the pixel buds pro now but I haven't really used them, like you said they started off great but over time they didn't stay in. I've used memory foam tips and those helped but they don't last long. I had a screen protector on my outer display but it wouldn't stay in with my case but I do have one on the inner display so I'm ok with that.

I can't go without a grip anymore. Its a little big and not that attractive but my grip of choice has been Sinjimoru Phone Grip. Do you think I'd have an issue gluing it down to the Dbrand Leather skin?

Just got my Sopiguard leather skin and got the version that wraps around and it's pretty good. Might get the dbrand leather one eventually as the sopiguard isn't soft like leather, though I do like how it adds grip to this slippery phone. I have a case for my fold butit has a screen protector built in and i hate it.

The Spigen screen protector one is exactly the same for me in the bottom corner. I've still got the bubble there right now, and that is the second protector. Such a weird thing that this is a problem across screen protectors. I don't know which one to get.

Returned the pixel buds pro 2. The microphone call quality greatly deteriorated . And I'm also still irritated that they removed touch and hold to hear notifications. I had to use my manufacturer's warranty to get a replacement pixel watch. 3 because the microphone and the speaker went bad in 60 days. And this isn't the first time a Google product has done this to me. I think I'm done purchasing Google products other than the phone. I don't know what it is but I think when it comes to their buds and watch they must be cheaping out on the parts.

It's a definite YES! The 45mm has obviously a bigger screen, but best of all, the battery life is amazing! I usually end the day around 10 pm with 60% battery left from taking it off the charger around 7 am. Also, features like Safety Check, Fall Detection, Emergency Sharing and more make this a great upgrade over the 2...

Yeah, the G cutout is not good. I emailed them a few weeks ago and they don't offer leather skins without the G cutout. 😞 Current setup is a standard dbrand skin on the back of the phone with the leather skin on top of that. It sticks much better to the vinyl versus the frosted glass. G cutout has been sticking well. Made a cutout in the leather for an ESR kickstand that is stuck to the basic dbrand skin underneath. Pain in the butt, but worth it.

Not a fan of the pixel watch, looks to feminine on me, especiallywith larger hands and forearms. I think it's the small rounded edges. Too dainty, but thankfully the Samsung watch 4 classic still works great with the P9PF so far. I have something very similar for my 2005 Blazer that sits in my cd tray and clamps my phone. Used it for the fold 4, now for P9PF and it's great, looks identical.
