Lynn, your guest today is an incredible woman come day come sunshine. She lives a purposeful life regardless of what the people/enemies talk or gossip on her. I am her royal fan, both on the radio and her channel. The most important thing about life is self-fulfilment not external affirmation. At the end of the day, either positive or negative things dont miss to be said. It's human nature. Maybe to remind my sister Joyce that as we navigate life, priorities change both individually or in our friend's lives. Each phase you walk in life accords you new type of friends to help you experience or walk in tandem with that stage. It's not by choice but the circumstances. Consistency in relations is hard because as we scale the heights to our destiny, each one of us takes difference routes including those that you thought are much closer. Do not wrong them because some of them were not meant to last long according to God's plan. Maybe by staying toxicity could have happened too. Granted, there are those that abandon you when you need them most but what if their staying was not the will of God? Just forgive them. Again, in retrospect, Joyce, you may realise that it was good riddance after all. God's time is the best time and as long as you are at your best mental wellness, why bother that they left? Single motherhood/fatherhood is not a sin but circumstances that human beings pass through due to many factors. You can't judge someone by their predicament or circumstances for each one of us has a unique life trajectory to pass. What is important is that the victim is able to surmount the challenges that come with those temporary pumps. Joyce, you were able to successfully navigate through to this day. That's what matters. I affirm you 💯 for coming out and sharing your story on Lynn's show today for many to learn that shining out there attracts many friends but when at your worst they disappear.

Loved this episode. Joyce kept it real and raw and had nothing to fake. This type of honesty is bery rare in kenyan women. May she find the love that shes praying for. The victimization of single mothers is what makes most women die in miserable marriages. There is nothing wrong with leaving a relationship that does not serve you anymore.. kids or not.

As a single mother, I used to feel inadequate about parenting my son, and one day the Holy Spirit convicted me reminding me that I get to partner with the God of the universe for ALL my needs! When I need wisdom, he gives it graciously, when I need strength, he doesn't hold back on that either! Such an awesome testimony from Wagituro!!!

@charlottekapiira862911 ай бұрын
Great discussion. I started listening in and shortly got into other things. Thank God I listened till the end, you ladies are incredible, that kind of laughter...😂, no wonder you look so young. As for Joyce, I relate with your story about 80%. - I lost my marriage to a lady pastor (from the cult church) - For over 17yrs I have been a single mom of 2 biological (son 19 in Form6 & daughter, turning 17 this month, in Form4) and 1 adopted daughter 21, now in university. - I got abandoned by all my married friends, fearing to take their husbands and also their husband warned them against me. - Got so much rejected, no respect in the community.😔 - Backslided for some time, though kept in church as if all was well....hmmm 🤔 - Dated the wrong person (narcissist) for some time 🤦, now out of that relationship. - Back to Christ, repented and now moving on a happy, blessed daughter of the most high. - I love taking my wine once in a while, but I take it from home, a few times during family parties. - I belong to a number of groups, of which one of the groups I am the Chairperson. - I love looking smart and I work on it so perfectly. - I have been an iron lady, ( lioness) 😂 as you put it to my children...... Incidentally we are not so close with them😔. I went through a lot fending for them with little earnings, staying away from them for work for some days when they were young and somehow it has had an effect on them. We talk, yes, we share but not as close/warm as I would expect. - I have gained my freedom in salvation of not seeking approval of the dos and don'ts from anyone. I read the word of God myself and pray a lot. - I changed to a Pentecostal church from Anglican because the pastors welcomed me the way I was, did not condemn me, became my friends, helped me walk the rough road of rejection/failed marriage and they allowed me to serve in the church.... I am a servant in our church. - At 50, I am open for love. Praying to God for a God fearing friend that will translate into a husband 😂...... One day while praying in my closet, I opened my Bible and God led me to Eccl 4:9-12... The heading was, It is better to have a friend, I have since started praying for a friend instead. On the other hand (20%) - Not yet financially stable...... Imagine still an employee, an HRM in a company. - Not yet a grandmother, I know it's lovely carrying them, loving them 😂 - No personal business as a back up.... It's a long story, and part of it is spiritual BUT I will get there. - I am very grateful to God for the far he has brought me and very hopeful that my tomorrow will be greater than today....

Descrimination on single mother's is real. No one expects you to say no to anything, men will walk to you for a relationship when you say no you're insulted on why you're keeping high vibes by saying no yet you're a mom. You're expected to accept everything that comes your way no matter what. This mentality needs to stop. We are just like anybody else and we choose what is good for us.

From what Joyce spoke, I think the church, the church, the church! The church should change, I don’t mean the buildings, but the people in church! People run to church for healing and help, just to be torn apart. Sometimes I tell my self, this eras churches are just houses harboring HYPOCRITES! Si ile church ya Acts 2:44-47! Please, it begins with me and you! It’s high time churches CHANGE! Ah🙌🏾💔

@@stellafinsky9467it is hard because me l Lost most of my friends ,my family are always against it especially those who are in their marriages and last are children when they do something wrong they start asking if they have a father so if you pass through this you Will know why

I knew Joyce just from the radio those days, but she's becoming my favourite person, she wise, open, funny and full of wisdom. I can't believe I sat over 2 hours watching this❤. Lynn, please bring her back, I think she has more to teach us women from all perspectives; About God, journey as a single mother, business, and how to relate with different people (friends) at different levels and ensuring you keeping each of them satisfied😂. I love her
