Impressive. Does anyone else share the opinion that the 2023 model's center console, with its more comprehensive design featuring a lower second screen and digital dials, looks superior to this one? While I appreciate the larger screen, I can't help but feel that it appears rather plain with only a prominent gear knob. It loses some of its tech and luxurious appeal. Just my opinion. What do you guys think?

I understand your view, but I do think the one screen design makes it more luxurious. No more buttons. A clean design looks great. Just my opinion!

I have a 2018 . I prefer it to this. There is no drama. No screen tilting towards you, no rotary shifter rising up. It is all in the name of cost cutting sadly.

This new interior design will eventually get to the bigger rover's. I am not sure the age group purchasing the range rover will appreciate the added complexity of changing the air conditioning in the car

It’s computer computer certainly. It’s ok for people that are confident with that but a lot aren’t it’s the way the World is going but Touchscreen for everything and so many choices can be very confusing, the majority of people just want to go from A to B in comfort, sat nav, air con and heat, and radio or music and obviously good security of the car and safety but it won’t appeal to everyone as it could be ultra confusing and scary. Iv had 8 Land Rovers and currently have a touch screen in mine but this is state of the art but looks very complicated and if we touch something wrong oooops

Nothing wrong with physical dials. More and more car companies are dumping those for high speed highway driving swipe screens and piano black smudges. Luckily I don't 80K lying around to spend on a car.

They selling this like an innovaton?. A New modell year? It is quite clear by now : reductive design is a marketing bullshit for constant cost cutting. Shame

I love the Velar🔥 The exterior of this car is exquisite😍 Glad the infotainment only has a single screen now. Didn't like the 2 screen set up in the previous model. Just wish they kept the climate & seat control buttons though. Now everything has to be done from the screen. Bit of a bummer there.

Having owned a bunch of Land Rover cars - the removal of the buttons on the Centre Console was only done to maximise profit for JLR and nothing to do with design... the physical HVAC controls should still be on the console and not on the Pivi screen. It's a backwards step and I cannot find anyone who thinks otherwise. That said I still have a new RR Sport on order but would have preferred it with the HVAC controls on the dash no the screen. #BackwardsStep
