Respectful Greetings! To: Hyundai Automaker. In the USA, the 2025 Tucson will continue to offer a 1.6 turbo engine, with a combustion-only or hybrid option. The hybrid now delivers 234 hp of combined power, thanks to a little more power from its electric motor. This represents an increase of 6 hp compared to the previous year. The Tucson Plug-In Hybrid adds another 7 hp for a total combined power of 272 hp. Another change for 2025 is that electrified models gain adjustment in the level of regenerative braking. The controls used to adjust the air conditioning settings have also been reworked, and thankfully, there are more physical controls than before. In addition to the traditional buttons, we notice a pair of rotary buttons with built-in screens for the air conditioning, plus two silver buttons for volume controls and other settings. The central air vents are also thinner than before and give the illusion of continuous ventilation across the entire dashboard. The more we look at the panel, the more changes we can notice. For example, it appears that the gear selector has been moved to the steering column. This allowed Hyundai to rethink the center console, integrating a large wireless charger, two large cup holders and a row of buttons in front of them. We should be looking at a more high-end version, given the premium stitching on the door panels and dashboard, along with the perforated leather on the seats.
