Bt100 has lots zink in casting materials made in chin lousie indina foundries. Lots zink cadmium makes it crack easy. All the metal is pot metal in bt engines. Same factories that make hone drpo (amazon brand) weedeater things blow up after 7 uses worse then China made castings lolz steel probably flung cast steel then bored out with razorblade 😂 you know for sure this was a freebie arsh kiss video😅 so huge cause all zink retains heat Lack of sleeve index point is dead give away spun casted steel sleeve. Zink makes it nice dull shinny white color though😂 oil resistant easy to clean😮 best thing this whole damn engine is fact it has 14mm pistion wrist pin lol

I have a question, i have a bt100 v1 and as far as i know, the only mods/upgrade i can do to my engine is to change the block/cylinder head to make it v2. I didn't see any video on YT modifying this engine or even any of the shelf parts that's plug and play... So theres the question, what other mods can i do to the engine? Thanks...

I would like to see the bore and stroke checked to make sure the stroke is 40 mm not 37 mm also would like to see how they stuffed the case. And also would like to see what the transfer ports look like with the person at the bottom center to the transfer ports clear of the piston are does the piston block part of the port which would restrict flow into the cylinder?

I think this is what we have been wanting from a 100 they already had great power but they always got to hot and melted the exhaust side of the cylinder walls and piston this iron sleave and more surface area of fins and the humongous head this should last at 3/4 / wide open for as long as you want and be able to do the long distance drives a modified 80 can do like 200 300 kilometers round trip
@m.kasper76463 ай бұрын
@@z28kid71 👈🏼🤔 WRONG! That's Not "a humongous head". The cylinder & head is one unit together as one pos poor design. "Drives"?! One RIDES a bike & "drives" a four wheeled vehicle. JS

I actually like the 2 bolt chain tensioner because of the straight vertical adjusting slot. I just drill out 4 corner holes and make it a 6 bolt. I wrap skateboard grip tape on the frame chain stay where I clamp the tensioner and it dosen't move at all.
@m.kasper76463 ай бұрын
@@dustinh4175 Anybody that knows their sh¡+ knows that chain tensioners are dangerous and unnecessary on most applications. If you can't adjust and or shorten your chain properly and if you have to use one, use it on the pedal side if you think you need one. I get my chains the right length or make them the right length where my drop~outs has all the adjustments necessary. More quiet, less, bs, & just better period.

The engine look nice but i dont like the reed valve side way
@SamqdfАй бұрын
The intake looks like garbage to me, the transition from the intake manifold outlet is harsh, it's aimed at the top reed pedals, those top top reed pedals look like they barely allow for any outflow, there is no cutout of the piston for full flow and other issues. So right ideal but crap implementation.

Let's play along and say this will make 5hp. That's enough to go 60km/h (37mph). Downhill 70-80km/h. If you're going that fast on bicycle tyres & brakes (even hydraulic discs) you are a hazard to yourself and others. These things look cool to kids & convicted drunk drivers but more than a few people get killed on them.

@jameshatton4211 Жыл бұрын
For a newbie (myself) what engine would you recommend? Note. I'm considering for use as a paramotor? Also your recommendations on most reliable 2 stroke you have been exposed to? Expansion chambers and modifications? My thinning is that if this is your bread and butter you are going to have some experience about various different engine types and modifications? I do acknowledge your dislike for 2 strokes also, but as a paramotor application running mostly as a stationary motor most of the time? I'm considering power to weight and hope you can look past your exposure to these motors in a motorised bike application?

@@jameshatton4211 bike motors have reduction gearing to drive a bicycle wheel, not a propeller. Even if you could make it work, you definitely don't want a low quality, low reliability bike motor to go flying with, at any price.
