Figo was always a great car in its segment and a delight to drive too. The only let down with respect to its competitors was the mileage. How is the new Figo doing in the Mileage department? And, is it fair to compare this with Polo GT TSI/ TDI? Because that in itself is a huge compliment when mentioned in the first look.Love the enthusiasm of Sharan Bindra! He is grown on me really. Almost didn't miss Ten in this video. :PBut the editing of videos is really not what it used to be. The reviews of the Polo, The Ecosport and the 200 NS had set PD in a league of its own mostly due to the presentation (which includes the anchoring as well as the location, the shooting, editing and rendering of videos). But now its just too plain, so non PD. No offence -grin-Thanks and cheers!!

Waiting for a comparison review of Tata Tiago and Ford Figo. Comprehensive review is still missing ! Test drove the Tiago 2 days back and the gear knob was making considerable vibration while in the neutral, is it same with every other Tiago or was it due to test drive car? Need to know that. This thing might be a deal breaker for me. Considering one out of the two for city and occasional out of the city runs .

PD, you could have said about the front seat support, the thigh and the lumbar, also same for the rear seats and the composure of the seats as firm or soft because in the long drive it will be a challenging factor during cruising highway. The plastic quality of the older figo was on the downside. The overall interior quality was also not mentioned. But the overall review was impressive. Is there any chance to know if the running costs of the ford now has come to the affordable side?

Good reviews once again guys! I test drove the new figo and while I find it more powerful and peppy than the outgoing model, I feel they you could have used better plastics on the inside. it does not feel as premium as the Polo or even the I20, for that matter. Over all, a nice hatch.

Having said that, pleasure speaking to a person who actually owns one.

I did a Trivandrum - Banglore drive because I bought the car from Kerala as I got delivery in 2 days and its my native place. I was looking to go for the vw polo but made a last minute change after I test drove the car. The engine and transmission are very refined and the dual clutch gear box is the closest thing to a dsg. I've tried it more than 7 times n every time it was less than 10sec and I simply loved it

TDed the new Figo and the aspire. I noticed that when the power windows hit the yop and bottom of their travel, the doorpads shift considerably; it looks and feels cheap. Does anyone have an idea as to if this is a fitment issue. I also contacted Ford and they deny there is any such iddue. Sardarji nice one on Figo! but I feel after my first test drive on the demo, its an upgrade to the elder one....but figo remains a figo compared to the new offerings apart from some power, transmission and few tweaks here and there....

tried both new figo and swift. opted for swift. plus points of figo being space and looks also air bags. negative clanky door. plus of swift good road driveability behaviour better seats missing the rear cam in top model. booked my swift zdi yesterday. but till last week choice was figo ;)

+PowerDrift may be gopal is afraid of ford's after sale service, maintenance & resale.. that's why he opted swift instead of figo.. 😁😁 his mind decided swift but his heart was & will be with figo.. that's the ford's image for Indians.. they make awesome cars but that ends their.. after sales service, resale not on their priority list.. that's why they lacking quite a behind maruti & hyundai.. I always loved cars from Ford but here in India their pricing strategy of cars is aggressive but that end there.. U have to put burden on ur own shoulders of ass, maintenance & resale is pathetic for this cars... No doubt if they give all this necessary elements to consumers then ford could beat this Japanese & Korean manufacturer's hands down.. &yes safety was & is on priority list always with ford cars... Love Ford cars for that matter.. hope Ford will win all Indians heart with giving low cost maintenance, ass..

not exactly harshad heart and mind with swift. other than cabin space, looks and 6 air bags nothing better in ford. yeah also more power. built build and drive quality better seen of swift. go and see the thud sound of a Ford door closing and the swift door closing. hope you understand ;)

So I'm guessing that built of new figo will be better than swift.. but as you said I need to check on myself as well.

small points though again, just remembered- in figo u need to lean forward to adjust your ORVMs and while resting back on seat you need to lean to front again to fine tune. in swift one can sit back in seat and fix ORVMs with knob on door panel at one go and be satisfied. also harshad i had owned a ford ikon during 2008, really relished the car, fantabolous :D
