80mm is the sweet spot for EDF’s. Big enough for gear doors and lights, but small enough for good performance with a 5000-6S battery. Now we need an 80mm F9F Panther.

This is amazing. Now that the F-22 line is complete (I'm getting one), we are eager to see the 80mm F-35 you know we need! I've got the 80mm 3658 2150kv stuffed into my 70mm F-35. The F-35 with an 80mm flies like a screaming eagle. I can only sit here and hope/wish that we will get the 80mm F-35. Maybe even the F-35C.

This is a gorgeous F22. They really did a great job with details -instant gear was big. Plastic cladding every where is really nice! It would have been perfect if they would have used plug-in connector on the wings ( only thing missing on this plane) Now for cost analysis: 70mm @ $309 very affordable using 3300-4000 mah 80mm @ $499 not bad would have like to seen closer to $400 but has all the bells and whistles! Using 4000-5000mah 90mm @ $579 -work horse but showing its age. Using 4,5,6000mah $200 difference between 70 and 80 mm which is significant but only $80 difference between 80 and 90mm. If your budget conscience the 70mm will fit the bill. I would definitely go with the NEW 80mm with everything it offers plus that 2150kv motor is a rocket. My F5 also uses the 2150 motor and that’s more than enough for me. Good luck making your choice FW and motionRC have not made it easy😂😂

I ordered 80mm immediately. But, No kidding if I had it to do again I’d buy the 70mm anyway. It’s that good! Smaller space friendly. Probably the best 70mm out. Easy post stall. So much selling my other 70’s they don’t compare and cheap repair. 90f16 8s too! All beast! Only downside is parts slim for a bit

I don't understand.....why would i pay 499 for an 80mm when i can pay 79 bucks more for a 90mm? Why not price it closer to the 70mm? or a new airframe like a 90mm F-35 etc....

I personal love 80mm size jets big enough to fly great and handle my grass field small enough to fit multiple aircraft at 1 time in my truck and at more reasonable price than a 90mm.
