With the next expansion to Neverwinter launching on the 16th of July, we will be getting a lot of new gear! I have made a document compiling all of the new gear pieces and give some of my feedback and opinions on what is good, bad and what you might want to be going for with this next update!

I wish someone will tell stupid devs to stop binding everything on account on pic up. Takes away our incentives as dungeon runners... if this is going to be a common theme... dont rush to end game! They want you to spend to get to end game then once you there... well grtz now you bored as you can only chase an artifact and little reason to want to run it after you got your equipment and be bored again after a few weeks after completing the new dungeon as you know the campaign fetch quests will get old real quick lol game is on its arse and this isnt helping. And nobody is talking about this issue enough or bringing it up to devs. No competative outside of dungeon leaderboards. No hunt systems. No pvp seasons. Way to much trash useless end game equipement. No profession updates. Same module structure, Still out dated events not revitalised, reskined areas. The game feels like a shadow of its former self. I hope what ive seen for this mod via aragons videos isnt going to be everything because if it is... its going to be another trash mod. Sorry if this post sounds negative im just struggling to find the positives in this game at the moment.

When you spend loads on mid maxing and helping friends to complete end game content and then melt through resources as you pulling most of the groups weight... it burns a hole in your A.D pocket with little ways to recoup it back. For me i came back to game after a little break... and its choosing to buy buff food and scrolls etc over improving my toon because the shit dungeon loot rewards are hampering my devlopment because theres no replay value in dungeons anymore or most trials. And its why i only play 2toons instead of all 9classes. Playstation not xbox... go back to pc and use your keybinds on someone else! Lol

Power based on health difference is the most idiotic bonus in this game. Any stat difference based on hp is pretty awful. Seems like item level creep for the sake of it 🤔

the current drop rate is 25% it's ridiculous especially that you will get gear not suited to your class. 20 runs Aic zero drop for my character

Again, what's the point of getting new content if we're not getting good gear to farm? Mod 29 bonus gear is a copy/paste of Mod 28... and tanks still lacking descent gear. Tanks don't need to rely on bonus with cooldowns. Thanks for the showcase and for preparing the document. Edit: forgot to ask if its possible to make a video of the purple campaign gear to see the appearance?

The only good thing on mod29 is the new "Heart" artifact.. defensive stat + 15% stamina regen,. with 10% damage taken debuff on target and caster received 10% less damage make us a little bit tanky.. thats why i think tank class is the riches class.. cause we no need to spend a penny every module lol.. cause our old gear still BiS

I can count in one hand the amount of good gear lol.... Dps mostly....healer is a side grade, i feel like they are afraid of power creep, instead of improving the last module gear, they balanced the effect: m28 20%regen 2.5 healing, m29 15%regen 3.5 healing....the trade off is not exactly worth it. Id much rather prefer to see the effect on different pieces to offer options and stacking potential. Makes no sense to sell low item level blue gear on campaign, they should update the drops of enemies...everybody has the blackjaw fashion by this point.

At least the "Heart" Artifact looking very nice to replace old Black Dragon Heart.. defensive stat + 15% stamina.. The "Jewel" got upgraded.. I don't know is it worth to spend on since Threat Generation is already okay at the moment?

No, Tiamat set still BiS, and getting kinda old too... lost opportunity not to have a complete tank set coming with this heart of the volcano... But it already got everything: defensive ratings, stamina gain, debuff on use and even damage reduction. Crazy artefact for tanks overall, we aren't gonna get anything as good before long let me tell you that!

Shame the companion gear doesn't have single value stat bonus, as this would be an easy upgrade from the boat gear (I've got). I don't mind paying AD, but why do they add soooo much to the currency requirements. The arena gear needs 1000 of those tokens per item. FFS, I don't wanna do he'll pit over and over, it's a bad event and the groundhog experience in their puts me clean off. Cheers for info 👍

Best in slot is nearly irrelevant for much of the community. With ilvl bloat what is "BEST" is what gets you over the min ilvl requirement to get into the next dungeon/trial. Dragon hunt gear might be great but it's 1k too low. MDWP gear might be great but the rng is so horrible I've yet to get a helm drop. Basically most of the community streetwalks bare-assed from one 10week grind ilvl to the next hoping to turn enough tricks to be relevant.

I think the barbarian 18% combat advantage chest is still bis generally. The only time the combat advantage/acc ones will be better is if ur group is running both the flapjack and tutor. Which will be most exp groups I guess, but not “all groups” 🙂

There is so many gear and food and so on to gain crit strike ez cap for 90, im missing a lot of accuracy, crit sev and a bit of CA, no idea how to cap IT when most of gear gives this Crit Strike.. just cant handle IT

Regarding the shirt and pants 2 set bonus Can you for instance take a shirt with a set bonus of 2% accuracy and pants with a bonus of 2% accuracy for a total of 4% or will it only do 2%? Also will you be and to potentially get like 2% recharge and 2% accuracy as they just say you need to have two of ember or magma. Never know with nw XD

You need the two pieces to make the set to get the bonus. By themselves they give nothing. 1 + 1 = 2

​@@Aragon- not what I'm asking AT ALL LOL re read my question as it reads. you don't need to do a recharge set bonus shirt with a recharge set bonus pants to get the 2% recharge. it says ember/magma shirt with ember/magma pants indicating you can get 2 set bonuses from these. either legendary or myth they should match. i think alot of people have misread the bonus and understanding it wrong

just checked, and yes, you need to have the matching set on the other piece. You have to have accuracy shirt + accuracy pants to gain the bonus. Otherwise you get nothing. Defense shirt + accuracy pants = 0 bonus

I've got a question about the advanced dungeon gear, because I feel like a not quite end game player I'm not in the running for the master gear. So does a yellow border mean second best, like only the master gear is better, or should I be looking elsewhere. I'm trying to gear up for the master version.

Listening again to Aragon I think he answered my question. The yellow advanced dps gear is what you would wear in order to get the master gear.

Gold/yellow basically means it is good, but there is a little bit better options, but yeah generally from master content, bar some exeptions

Cleric is a clear cut worst right now, beyond that people will tell you paladin most of the time for shields, and that's probably your safest bet, in my opinion the warlock or bard is the best because of the buffs and debuffs they offer, warlock is also really easy to cap stats on

it does work. You have to lose 15% of your Hp for it to trigger. Not stamina
