Hi! I know there will be discussion about scaled content and how useless raising item level is if you’re not doing end game stuff. But it’s not as black and white as that. There is a gray area with “scaling”. This video is not about maxing item level. This is to help newcomers and casual players understand small methods they can take to increase their item level to get into certain zones and start running things like reapers challenge(s). Etc etc etc! I’m always down for the insight but this video is not about maxing item level by any means just increasing it 🌱

Hey, you should make a video showing how players can get a lot of things you’d normally by for free. Like Glyph of potency from doing legacy quests, Cole Motes from Invoking, epic enchanting stone from Thursdays fortress in the dread legion. I see so many players buying this stuff off the AH thinking it’s the only way…

Returning player. Im above 50k item level without doing anything the last 2 years. I have a ton of max level companions/mounts, and some mythic insignias but mostly orange version, im mainly just missing good gear and some of my slots are entirely empty so i could increase my item level by a lot within the next week.

I’m playing hunter ranger dps so what are the best uncommon enhancements for me, im looking at garnets

garnets are good for defense and utility slot, for the offense slot however it's going to be stat balancing later down the road. you will not end with many, if any garnets on your offense slot for hunter because power is pretty easy to get on dps :)

Seeing as how all content up to vault of the stars is scaled there's really no need to worry about il till you want to run vos. Rather than worry about it I recommend all new players get to understand their class and roles in dungeons etc. I've seen some 80k players who are clueless about any game mechanics from their class to dungeon mechanics. This game is a marathon not a sprint. Don't try and run before you can walk

there are some things you can't go into without having item level, this isn't about maxing item level it's about increasing it to get into content. scaled content is another story. thanks for the insight!
