The Last Courage = SOCR The Last Valor Basically, if we shoot 3 shots and the 4th shot happens to be a crit (which by right counts as 2 for this weapon), it currently triggers the shrapnel (since shrapnel comes every 4 shots) AND resets the counter to 0. This means that 4th shot (which should be counted as 2 because it is a crit) effectively lost 1 shot count. After this change, if you happen to crit on the 4th shot, you only need 3 more shots to trigger the next shrapnel, because it does not reset to 0 but continue as 1. This is a buff but very very conditional.

was thinking this exactly its low key a huge buff for the SoCR Valor, I dont get how he missed this its literally "The Last Courage" and then the LMG for Shrapnel... I guess it didn't occur to him that the translation is bad. The only way this could be any better is if the counter triggered off the Shrapnel Crits them selfs! You could possibly have multiple instances of shrapnel triggering and not just off the first initial hit

The Last Valor got a hugee buff/mechanic fix. Typically it takes 4 shots to trigger shrapnel, since crits count as two, the counter for shrapnel will carry over to the next shrapnel proc. So 3 non crits and one crit will trigger shrapnel and after that you’d only need to hit 3 non crits for the next shrapnel proc.

last courage is scar its means if u hit 3 normal shot or 1 crit and 1 normal shot and then the next shot is crit it will trigger shrapnel and then u need 3 hits not 4 again since the crit counts as 2 out of 4 hits to trigger shrapnel

@10:05 According to the chinese interpretation of the original post, It is actually a buff: The line starts with +20% blaze damage without any requirement. Reloading still consumes all 4 orbs and each orb gives +8%, so that's +52% blaze damage from max orbs reload. Honestly I don't see them nerfing Pyroclasm anymore than the way it currently is, in within the shotgun department it's already stomped hard by Doombringer in every aspect as is.

12:06 I think "The Last Courage" is the SOCR Last Valor and I think the change is saying if the count is at 3 and you crit, shrapnel used to proc and reset to 0 since it would be 5, but now the extra crit keeps the extra count and carries over as 4+1 so you start the next cycle at 1. I honestly expected a nerf, but I'll take a buff as someone still building up and new to the game.

Yeah. So it looks like by starting the counter at 1 instead of 0 it will smooth out the damage more for the times you may not crit. I don't think in theory its a big buff, but may smooth out bad rng a bit on the noncrit hits.

The Crank doesn't need to kill something to get a buff after change. 15% more burn dmg once you reach full stacks and now you get 2 extra stacks instead of just one. So the actual burn will be pretty high.

I think you misunderstood the Dusty rework description, it's not 30% for body and increased by 65% on weakspot, it's increased to 65% on weakspot, so a flat out buff

yeah, but on left side it says 55%. left side is what was old buff. new buff on the right side, why is the 30% included then ? Why not just leave the 65% when hitting weakspots. Properly translated it says it triggers 30% on a hit. If you hit a weakspot it increases to 65%.

With the changes to fire mod i think that might be more for the new fire M416 and maybe the fire HAMR crumble sniper, either way they are still below average guns the fire damage just takes to long on them.. They should add a dragons breath impact effect after a certain amount of shots to all fire weapons without having to collect them balls, similar to shrapnel effect or bounce on impact but with dragon breath damage instead in addition to the existing fire damage, then fire guns would be fun to use.. If enough people say they want it then the devs might change fire guns to give us a dragon breath bullet impact dmg on all fire weapons.. :)

Totally agree about the fire 416 being underwhelming. I was able to clear the deep throat base with it, but damn it took a lot of tungsten ammo. Hahaaa. Fun as hell amd the burn ticks were lethal. It is a damn shame this wasn't a purple blueprint or that they don't upgrade it to a purple. I hope they implement a way that dungeon bosses would drop fragments that would allow X number of fragments to raise a blue to a purple. That's all. Don't wanna be greedy and ask for purples to gold, but blue to purple would he so damn nice. The pioneer AK would be another great option.

@@MrLilhauughh i only used the fire M416 at level 2 back at the start of way of winter to test it out, i had 4 stars on another weapon i transferred to it, fire dmg on weapons in COD zombies is OP was hoping the M416 would be similar but it wasn't compared to other elemental dmg weapons in once human like jaws and power surge hit good.. They need to bump up dps on fire weapons or better still make a 6 star power surge M416, that would be awesome

I read the post first then come across your video. I really thought the upcoming buff for Conflicting Memories is juiciest unless I misunderstood the translation. Let me know if math checks out: At 166 magazine size: Old: 166-100=66 66/15=4.4 ~4 4*8= 32% Shrapnel Damage New 166-90=76 76/15=5.066 ~5 5*10= 50% Shrapnel Damage 18% Buff on Shrapnel Damage just on the change alone.

Despite knowing Chinese and reading the original notes, I still don't understand if the buff to the Gas Tight Helmet is supposed to be +150% added shrapnel damage (i.e. 1 shrapnel = 50% + 150% = 200), 150% of damage (i.e. 1 shrapnel = 150%) or 150% of weapon mechanics = 150% X 120% = 180%. The way they worded it is just so weird that they wrote "basic shrapnel damage increased by 100%" for current behaviour and "shrapnel damage +150%" for new behavior but the current behaviour is actually 120%.

lol translations and this game, when they do these lists they should make them the same as the weapons and armour names in the game, i'm pretty sure there is nothing named The Last Courage in the game, there's the last valour and we could assume that the last courage is a typo for the last valour with it saying bullet fragmentation etc shrapnel.. I'm pretty sure translation issues they replaced valour with courage lol.. fyi it is valour in english, only americans with their backwards english say valor.. :)

my issue with the bounce rework is its basically just diet shrapnel now. later I think they should give bounce weapons the ability to bounce shots off like the ground or walls so you can hit enemies behind cover or something and it'll just be called ricochet and it'll have a niche in pvp servers.

how is it diet shrapnel tho? imo shrapnel guns are a bit over hyped. (excuse my language), these guns are either S tier or F tier depending on how many parts your target has, while this bounce change, it doesn't matter if you're targeting bunch of mobs or a boss, AOE or single target will be good now, especially that kumawink + tattoo pants (considering you're gunning near or infront of the boss).

@@0Creates if you shoot a target with shrapnel it bounces to another body part, if you shoot a target with bounce it just bounces off the air or another target back into the thing you shot. only advantage a bounce build has is that it looks kind of cool to mow down hordes now and the single target dps is a bit better
