OMG I'm going insane!!!!!! My hubby and I are going through REALLY tough financial times and I haven't been able to buy yarn for the past YEAR. Now I'm seeing all these new Mandalas (my FAVORITE Lion Brand yarn) and I'm just going crazy. I love every single one of these, with the exception of the "bright" ones. Except for the Tie Dye Impressions... OMG those are my colors!!!! Gawd I wish I could just buy even a few of these, but we just don't have any spare money right now. Thank you for showing us these, Crystal - at least I can share your joy in seeing all the new beautiful colors!! 💜💜💜

@@cherb_soco1891 Me too!! I never realized how theraputic buying yarn was for me, until I had to stop doing it. I had things to look forward to... going to the store (or shopping online), looking forward to it getting here, looking forward to opening the box (and forgetting what all I had ordered!), looking forward to putting it away, looking forward to planning what to make with it, and looking forward to finishing that project. Don't get me wrong, I still have some yarn to work with... so I can still do projects and have those to look forward to. But all the other stuff I looked forward to is just non-existent now, and honestly it's pretty depressing. I know I'm probably going to get blasted by folks for saying all this but, oh well.

Wonder & bowtruckle are my favorites 😍 they remind me of pansies, which reminds me of my grandpa, who always had pansies growing around his house. After my grandma passed away I lived with him to help out until he passed away a few years later. Grandma taught me to crochet & grandpa was always sharing his woodcraft talents & knowledge of a huge array of things with us. ❤

I like Lion Brand. They are who brought me back into crochet in 2020. I came down with cancer in 2020 and I saw someone crocheting with an Lion Brand Ombra at the doctor's office and I fell in love. It must have been 25 years since I picked up crocheting but that day brought me back. With that said. I'm not much of a fan of yellow, orange, red, browns. I know I know, Crystal you are cursing me I know. Now, it's funny, if you mix yellow with orange, spotted like, I love it. It breaks up the yellow and causes the orange to become richer and fuller. That said, I don't like most of the new stuff. It's pretty, but not something I would buy for myself. My favorites, I like that dark blue sparkle and the cake that had the really really light blue. The Tie Dye is amazing, I think I have to go and get me some of that. The way you color control Crystal, you could take the Banshee and the Sandman and mix up the colors anyway you want to make a mixed cake. That would be really cool.

I could hear the cicadas! It gave me the most lovely memory of my Grandma's house: she had them so loud, it was deafening. We all sat on her screened in porch & I crocheted as everyone chatted. :) PS: my fav is Sandlewood which is funny, I didn't think that would be my pick!

Hi Crystal, yarn looks so pretty. Just wish our JoAnns would sell all those Lion Brand cakes. Love the Tie Dye and Rainbow Impressions. Oh wow! that Wonder is to die for. Looks like a Monet painting. Mantas is nice, like the blend of colors on that one. Doxy is pretty too, man you lucked out with such beautiful yarn. I can't believe how fast you crochet different projects Knitting takes so much time to work up. The Impressions yarn looks like you could work on size 10 needles. I'm going to have to go to our JoAnns to see what they have. Keep the yarn videos coming, they are so much fun to watch.

Yes I do remember seeing that video and I could not wait to see them in person or on your video! I think all the impressions colorways are beautiful! I think Woodstock is my favorite new colorway of the impressions! I agree with you the mandala ombre Wonder is beautiful! I cannot wait to see the new mandala sparkles! Wow the monoclonius is amazing I love the bright green and the purple and the orangey red it's amazing! The pictures is also amazing in the sparkles beautiful explanation point cool bowling gorgeous shoes and greens and gray amazing! Ooh Slimer is bright and they're my colors number is pretty! Oh man this is really pretty also! I like the capital also I like that blue cream that bright pink and the brown and green! Wow Bowser! I think doxy is my favorite! Oh wow werewolf is my second favorite of the new regular Mandela's! Love Metallica and the Sandman is tying with number one for me not just because of the song but because of the colorway! Bow truffle is beautiful! And yes it is really hard to pick a favorite! Loch Ness again is beautiful! And her own is gorgeous I love the bright orange and the purple gorgeous! Banshee is also beautiful and I cannot pick a favorite of the regular man to like I think they're all beautiful!

We haven't gotten many as of yet here in southeast Iowa. I love to hear them. I think it's kind of soothing! I think they start to really come on here in July and August. Love to hear them but i hate when they land on me!! Really bugs me out!!! I have never bought nor used mandala yarn. I know, Im different. I look at them in Joann's but yet to buy. Yes, can definitely hear the cicadas. So glad I moved out of Illinois without ever experiencing them! I don't think I would have enjoyed them. So far my favorite is the Volan sparkle and Bowser.

By far, my favorite is the “Sandalwood” cake. Tied for 2nd place is the “Werewolf”, the “Banshee”, and your #1 favorite, but I can’t remember the name. When I lived in the Indianapolis area between 2002 and 2007, one year in that timeframe we had a “brood” of cicadas. They were SOOO loud! Hearing them in your video reminded me of how loud they were. Definitely can hear the cicadas! I can’t imagine what it must be like outside. Such a freaky occurrence to have them come out of hiding in droves. We don’t have them hear where I live in California. I think my grand dog would freak out with the noise and if she saw them. She is excellent at finding insects. I’m really attracted to the Mandalas with the bright, outrageous colors! ❤️🧶

That is the sound of Cicadas OMG.........I thought you had a new white noise machine or maybe it was your fireplace, then I thought it was running water that sounded like a dark evening sitting under the stars Wow.
