Ive owned a refurbished Vitamix 750 for many years. It doesn't have fancy blending modes, just the speed control, on/off switch and pulse. I always start on slow speed and usually only turn it up to the 4-5 speed. Honestly in watching videos on youtube I just like my simple Vitamix. Thank you for your reviews I like them

Great review. I have an Ascent a3500 but had eyes on the NJ chef Ascent wanna-be because they seemed as or more powerful on paper, so I hoped to sell my Ascent and dry grains container and pocket a few hundred bucks while also getting a similarly powerful blender. Looks like that is just a pipe dream. I only gave it a thought mainly because I'm not a die hard blender (yet) and have some financial issues at the moment. However I absolutely do want to blend a lot more once my situation gets better, along with picking up my bread making again which my Vita can do very well with it's additional dry grains container/kneader. Anyway, just wanted to say I am grateful for your video as it just saved me future regret and headaches. Keep up the great work!

I like the comment about putting the lipstick on a pig! :-) I chose the 750 Heritage Vitamix and have had it for over a year since October 2016 to now December 2017 -- I heartily recommend the Vitamix -- not only is the Vitamix an investment in your good health as you choose good ingredients, but it is a very well built super blender, and it lives up to its reputation! Buy one -- you will not regret it, as the Vitamix Company backs up their machines with great warranties, and they will stand behind their product and you every time.

I could watch your Vitamix-Ninja comparison videos all day long! Very informative and entertaining. :) I've known several people that own Ninjas and swear by them, while at the same time tell me that they need a new blender container because theirs cracked or sprung a leak when blending hot soup. Or, the one I love best is when the lid lock breaks rendering the whole unit useless because it won't run without the lock engaged. I even read a review on amazon years ago from someone who swore up and down that he'd rather buy a new Ninja every year than spend $400+ once for a Vitamix. Really?! What kind of logic is that? Lol!

Thank you for showing this demonstration. I am just starting the journey to find a Vitamix. My oldest has fallen ill and can not eat foods or juices with seeds or she risk getting an infection that could hospitalize her. We were told it’s lifelong, so I have been looking around at juicers and powerfull blenders. I looked at the Ninjas in the store today but just didn’t trust what I was seeing, the purée test you showed was proof that I need to invest in the Vitamix. I would like some advice on which model can take all the seeds out that can stay around the 300 -350 dollar range. Ty
@yarnovah
@yarnovah 5 жыл бұрын
wildwood143 I know this question was posted almost a year ago, but I felt for you and your child. I hope this helps. No blender I know of can *remove* the seeds from fruits and vegetables. What the Vitamix does so well is pulverize them until they are undetectable. I love adding flaxseeds and chia seeds to my smoothies for their health benefits and fiber. However, if I had a sensitivity to them, I would need to avoid them altogether. The same with grape seeds and others. Some people throw the whole apple, core and all (because you can?) and others advise against it because apple seeds are toxic, perhaps only in larger amounts. Just remember, the seeds will still be there, even though you can’t see them! I wish your daughter a long and healthy life!

Wow I'm glad I saw this video, because I was seriously considering purchasing the Ninja Chef blender. I currently have 2 Ninja Professional blenders, which to be honest I have no complaints about so far, as they perform better than a $30 or $40 blender and make better fruit smoothies. My daughter is currently using the one that I had in my storage unit. And the one I have now I was planning on gifting to a friend of mine so that I could upgrade. I was drawn to the Ninja Chef because of the price and because it seemed to have similar capabilities as the Vitamix. I guess that was a lie. But it still leaves me not knowing which Vitamix to get. If I'm going to spend hundreds of dollars (which I don't mind if it's a quality product that will last a long time) then I want it to be able to do everything that I need without having to add other appliances to fill in the gaps. I've recently become interested in sprouted nuts/seeds/grains and the different ways it can be incorporated into a raw diet, so I want an appliance that can multitask. I was hoping that you would demonstrate how the ninja and vitamix compares for dry ingredients to make flour and butters. Is there a video I can watch for this?

I noticed the bottoms and want to ask are the vitamax similar in quality to some Breville blenders? I could care less about the pulpy or pulplessness results as these two blenders are similar, my opinion. But I really care about cleanliness and lasting a long time. I have a love hate relationship with ninja, the price is my range but I'd rather spend same or " little " more if it means the blender lasts me near 5 to 10 years and is clean. ( some parts in ninjas are hidden or hollow, can produce mold(

Hi Congrats on your new Vitamix! Great choice. The point of the video was to address Ninja's claims that their machines turn frozen strawberries into powder. The Ninja Chef is the model that compares to the Vitamix. Since they already did the strawberry test on the Vitamix in their video there was no reason to do it on both brands in my video.

in the future, save the pulp, it can be used as an additive for ingredients in baking or cooking, also it is fiber which contains health benefits such as satiating hunger and aids in digestion. Not to mention it can be used as compost.

I know they lying about the berries! My ninja never chopped up them no matter how long I used it. My Vitamix was smooth and I didn’t need to use the tamper!

I bought a Ninja when it first came out trying to save spending the money on a Vita Mix even though I knew it was a better machine. I fell for the sales pitch and bought Ninja. That was a mistake. The Ninja didn't give me the results I wanted, I really tried to like it but it was horrible, at that time I had burned out 3 other blenders. So between all those and the Ninja I could have bought a Vita Mix which I did and haven't looked back. There is nothing like my Vita Mix. If you want the best save your money buying junk and get a VM I could have 2 Vita Mix blenders for the money I've wasted.

Have you looked at the refurbished models, I bought my refurbished, honestly I thought it was new when I took it out of the box. I did pay slightly more than 300, but I've never regretted it. I'd buy the best you can afford, I love using my blender, an old 750. Even the refurbished come with a warranty, like 5 vs 7 years

NINJA, Shame on you! SHAME SHAME SHAME You could not give me a Ninja for free. And come to think, Ninja was the first blender I was going to purchase. Not after this video. I’m gonna spend my money wisely and get a Vitamix! 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you Henry for this video as always 😊

That ninja was pure garbage. Just the blackberry test alone was enough to prove how well the vitamix works. And I can confirm cuz I own a vitamix and it’s amaze balls.

I'm not saying the ninja chef is better, its clearly not. I'm actually in the process of picking a Vitamix, but I've had this thing since a month after it came out and I use it 1-2 times a day everyday since mostly with smoothies, and cashew sauces, which are decently taxing on the motors I'd imagine. When you noted the rubber gears and plastic drive it had me curious so I checked mine, and they are literally perfect, not a single bit of wear and tear once I wiped them down clean you wouldn't even be able to tell. For the price, I think I've got every dollar out of it and its an amazing alternative to the Vitamix for half the cost of the 3500. I got mine for 180 which I didn't realize was a deal until I just checked retail price now haha, in which case a third the price. Good comparisons though.

If you're so defensive in favor of the Ninja then why are you switching to a Vitamix? I find it tiring how Ninja fanboys disguise themselves as future Vitamix customers yet they are high defense of Ninja. Seems to me you wouldn't buy a Vitamix since you made it clear that the Ninja is 1/3 the price of a Vitamix. Nice try but you're very transparent.
