I bought my Evade 2 today. Been using the original for 4 years now. I was fine with the old ventilation. But compared to other regular type helmets, my favorite feature of the Evade 1 is.... the sound. Less wind noise from your helmet equals a safer ride, plus you can hear others talking better. I hope this new Evade is as quiet.

I skipped the Evade II and purchased the Bontrager Ballista. Its already proven more aero and better air flow than the original Evade. Plus I ended up paying half as much.

hm, but there isn't any hair on the test model's head. I wonder how much deference the results will be with sweaty hair on the sensors of the model during testing.

If the venting is that good, then what is the Prevail for? 10g weight reduction?!

Great design, but no MIPS. I bought a Giro Vanquish just before this was released.

@@LittleBU96 why would specialized sell them with or without mips? I know the first gen evade was non mips. The angi evade II should have mipsbecause this is the 2nd gen

6 seconds per what? ... as in: 6 seconds faster on a flat road over a distance of 100 meters .. otherwise it has no meaning

In the video it says, "6 seconds faster over 40 kilometers." That is a comparison to the previous Evade.

Over 40km with no speed mentioned or anything. They could’ve tested it at 100 miles per hour. It’s meaningless but all bike brands and helmet brands use that metric
