I have a Daytona 660 with this type of display, you do get used to it and it is clear but I do think it cuts a really old fashioned look on a modern bike. Triumph are a real outlier on this which is sometimes can be a good idea on a feature, but not this one. This is definitely hurting sales and needs to be designed out as a priority. Just look how many people are saying in the comments that they wouldn't buy this bike just because of that one feature. As an interim step get rid of the old fashion white lines and circles off it at least.

It's been a long wait since the iconic Tiger Sport 1050 got rid off the line up. That ridiculous Tiger 850 "Sport" and the underpowered 660 were disappointments to the "Sport" term. So the 115 hp of the 800 are a new beginning. Something to work with, but still lightyears away from the S 1000 XR
@adamkaminskiАй бұрын
Much more affordable than a bmw. Besides, 115cv are much more than necessary to do whatever you want, especially having a lot of fun! For my reality (and most people's), who likes to use the bike daily, and sometimes goes to travel, 800cc is the limit, I really don't want a bike bigger than that. So I can use it in the city, commute, travel, go to track day, anyway, much more versatile.
@peterparker219Ай бұрын
@@adamkaminski You reach 115 hp at 10,750 rpm. Who the hell rides a bike on the road at that rev ? With normal revs at 7,000 to 8,000 rpm you probably reach around 80 - 85 horses.

@@peterparker219 in comparison, bmw S1000 XR delivers its 170hp in 11.000rpm, and its 11,5 kgfm at 9.250rpm. Tiger delivers 113hp at 10.750rpm, and 8,5kgfm at 8.500. I was likely to get a Tracer 9 next Spring, but now I'll wait and see if the Tiger 800 is what I want !
