wow, natural gas?! interesting. i would have thought vw would be paving the way with an electric variant. it will be interesting to see what engine comes with the gas version. too big and it takes sales from golf r / gti, too small and its not really a polo 'r'.

Luke W thanks for this advice, i wasnt aware vw had already made inroads in this area. they dont sell them here (australia). i would have thought ev's would take priority over cng, but maybe vw are keeping that ace up their sleeve.

Bob Herps I don't know . Maybe because I'm 18 and would prefer my car to look sporty . I don't really need a very practical car yet . Just something reliable , well built , relatively efficient and low on insurance . This ticks most of the boxes though .. Plus you've gotta love VWs build quality I suppose .

17 over here, i understand what you mean about looking sporty but i thought like if you wanna have some friends in the back or go on a vacation with some friends a 5 door is a little bit more practical. I agree on the other statement tho.

Bob Herps yeah to be fair , the last gen 5dr generation Polo in GTI trim did look quite good . And I suppose it would be better for the everyday , maybe I'll grow to like rheum more .

VW AUDI has had the worst interiors for decades always 20 years behind. VW has finally listened they are redoing all there interiors. Already did the Q5 which the 2017 was horrible, the 2018 looks good and at least hits 2008. The R was bland for 2017 this is an upgrade but I agree ugly, the other hot hatch backs look way better. I do really like there new LED dash putting the navigation on the dash, but in 2 years everyone will most likely have that. The focus and Mercedes are far ahead on there interiors.
