Great hunt. Dangit those hardwoods turkeys can gobble. "Nothing like risking life and limb.....". My wife heard that and said "Yeah....Shane." I've done a few stupid MT night drives to be listening somewhere at daylight, dodging elk and deer while half asleep.

From a native Ohioans perspective, our turkey population has been a little beat up the last few seasons. Our Kentucky farms are still covered up in birds, but a couple super wet springs in a row in Central Ohio hasn't been great on the polt survival rates.

I like your videos, including this one, but I was surprised you shot at a red head without confirming that you saw a beard on the turkey. Turkey hunting 101 says to make sure a bird has a beard before you shoot, and you apparently did not since you didn't know if the bird was a jake or a gobbler until after you shot. Just so the viewers know, you should always check for a beard before shooting.
