MARADONA gave 5 assists, 2 of them are crosses, 1 is a pass using head, and 1 is a defense splitting long pass from the center. MESSI in 2014 scored 4 goals against teams like Bosnia, Nigeria, Iran. Messi gave 1 assist. By the way ARGENTINA 1986 conceded 5 goals, while in 2014 they only conceded 3, 2 in the group phase, MESSI had a better defense than MARADONA. MARADONA was competing for the golden ball against players like, Platini (Won 3 Ballon D'or in 83,84,85), Zico(Doubtedly the best passer ever), Paolo Rossi(Previously won Golden Ball and Boot and Italy's best ever striker so far).
