+Joker arts well,they are romers.So you have to be on a route with low level pokemon and your lead pokemon must be under level 50.Then,I HIGHLY,HIGHLY recommend for you to use your master ball,cause it flees at if you switch out or attack and it has roar so arena trap and mean look won't really work.And if it flees,it is completely gone from the cartridige and you won't be able to catch it anymore or even find it.

He brings up some valid points or doesn’t expand on others. I probably wouldn’t use Butterfree for too long because its stats and typing kind of hinder it later in the game. Mankey’s better long term ‘cause it’s faster and has better coverage. But nothing’s better than two of the three starters who can hit Brock’s ‘mons with a 4x super effective early STAB move. Pidgey is…painfully average; the Spearow and Doduo lines will hit significantly harder and faster, but be less resilient; they’ll start off with their early Flying-type STAB while Pidgey has to wait a few levels. Spearow is available right around the time Pidgey is, but Doduo’s just to the west exit of Celadon. Of the three, I’d probably choose Doduo for a strong secondary STAB in Tri Attack, but carry Spearow for the early game. I think he puts more emphasis on the Bellsprout line over Oddish because they learn similar moves, but Bellsprout can out speed and do more damage with them, while still being able to spread status conditions…though neither are as good as Bulbasaur.

Given his thoughts on the Pokémon and how many he didn't recommend, I'd be willing to be he barely used a THIRD of these Pokémon on his team at one point. Parasect is basically Torterra before Torterra. It is slow, bulky, and hits like a fucking truck. Yes you have to play around weaknesses, but that's the whole basis of Pokémon. Plus: Parasect is one of the few things that can be greatly destructive to psychic types. I remember I cleaned Sabrina's Alakazam in *2 hits* with Leech Life. Don't know a Pokémon until you try it.

Pokémon he recommended: 60 (Persian counts cuz he used it in his team and Slowbro is really good as it's great at taking hits which it is supposed to do and Slowking isn't offensive, it just has swapped defenses, Sandslash is faster than Golem, Rhydon and Marowak and Marowak has surprisingly good Sp. Def for a ground type with the special split and Victreebel has decent speed so idk wtf he's talking about, especially when he sorta recommended Yanma and Sneasel.) Wobbuffet recommended for multiplayer Pokémon he didn't recommend: 38 (Arbok is not slow, it's got good speed, it's its second best stat!) Old Chuggaaconroy was NOT harsh... For the most part.

NMan64 The same is reverse for me. when I need a tank that can also hit like a truck, Lapras was my go to. Here's how good Lapras has been. My entire team had been wiped by the champion, except Lapras. Lapras took 10 turns worth of punishment, 5 for reviving each member of my team and 5 for healing them to full, and still stayed strong. I tried that with the others, and... they would get wiped.

To be fair to Flareon, it does get better after Gen III, when fire type moves are split between physical and special. Despite this, I have only acquired a Flareon with breeding my already evolved Eevee. There are usually a few other Fire type Pokemon to choose from aside from Flareon, such as Growlithe, Houndour, Magmar, Numel, or Ponyta, or even the starters, so I only breed a Flareon when I'm trying to 100% the game.
